Was fairly easy to assemble. The "feet" do not go on easily ONLY because if they are installed as they suggest, then the unit wobbles. Not sure if the unit itself has a tweak in it or if the feet are not squared.
We were able to overcome that, but the one foot keeps coming off when we move the unit for use. The warmer does warm the towels some but certainly not like I dreamed of. Just barely warms. I left it on by mistake overnight and there was no difference in the towel warmth from turning on 2 full hours before needed or 10 hours of heating.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Misterfixit Materials OK, but base screws were misaligned at the factory. Cheap Labor.
Assembly of the unit is straightforward. Attach the legs. But when first attempted the legs would not fit squarely onto the base frame. Further inspection revealed one of the screws assembled at the factory was skewed... and this caused the frame to "twist" or torque out of planar alignment. Very frustrating until I figured it out and reset the offending assembly screw.

Was looking for a small towel warmer for a new bathroom. Nice looking for a good price. Easy assembling by just attaching the feet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by deb1950 This towel warmer really works!
After using the towel warmer for just two days, we were pleasantly surprised with the actual warmth of the towels. What a difference it makes, especially in a cold bathroom like ours! The unit itself looks really nice; not cheap. We are using ours on the floor stand not with the optional wall attachment. The unit fits perfectly in the wall space next to our shower. The only problem we have is that we don't have a GFI plug on that wall. To be safe, we are going to have a wall plug installed. Delivery by Home Depot was amazingly fast & chrgs were not on card until the item was delivered. That's nice too!

Like other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't get very hot. I have kids, so I like the fact that its not going to burn them. It looks exactly like the picture. Does its job, although you have to plan ahead a bit to get towels warm and turn it on well in advance of a shower. Our downstairs bathroom is always a bit damp, so its nice to dry the towels afterwards.

I feel bad rating this product as average when I wasn't using it as a "towel" warmer, for which it may be just fine. However, I bought it only because I saw mention that it can also be used to warm clothes or dry rain-dampened clothes. I bought it to hang my clothes on at night so that they would be warm in the morning (as I live on a cold boat). The warming of my clothing was uneven depending on which part of the garment touched the warm bars. Then one night I hung my favorite white wool sweater over the warmer and in the morning it had an ugly scorch mark on the front. I decided I had to return the product because it really wasn't working for me. It may be fine warming towels in your warm bathroom, but it's not great warming clothes. I also don't know why it's so expensive ($144).
As for assembling it, it was easy to do, as a free-standing rack. It also had attachments for installing it on a wall, which I didn't do so I don't know how difficult that would be. Probably not difficult at all.
I also want to say that returning the product to the Home Depot store was very easy and pleasant. I told them what the problem was and I got a full refund.

Warms more quickly than literature led me to expect. I will purchase again soon for the new house being built.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter at Christmas. In talking with her, she loves the warm towels and also warms her pajamas before bedtime. She is also using this to warm her socks and gloves/mittens in this cold Wisconsin weather.
