I ordered this heater for work as it gets really chilly in office buildings in the summer. I keep it under my desk. You have to have it really close to you in order to feel the warmth. I propped it on top of the box it came in. To me it's only good for really small areas/rooms. It's very small and convenient not taking up much space, and if you had to move it around. It's also very quiet and discreet which works in my case being in a work setting. Overall it was a good purchase.

On LOW, it heats my 8X9 bathroom well (although the directions state that it shouldn't be used in
bathrooms????). However, LOW setting is really high in terms of wattage used and cost to run.
FORGET the thermostat, it's useless. If the unit shuts off, you'll freeze before it turns itself on again.
I have to manually turn the temperature on and off.
It would have been better designed to include a handle with which to move the unit and a 3-wattage
setting instead of two--and charge a few dollars more for the heater.

I purchased the heater to use at my desk in my office as it's always freezing! The heater is perfect and very quiet!

For the price, you really cant beat this little heater. IT uses coils so it wont clog with dust nearly as fast as ceramic type heaters. It is quiet yet moves more air than you would think. Does not have a tip over sensor but it will shut off when it over heats and will only reset after you manually turn it off and wait for it to cool. Some other inexpensive heaters permanently shut off if they over heat and you have to throw them away. If this keeps working for the "burn in" test for the next two days I am buying another.

When I opened the box, a screw fell out. I figured, this can't be good. Then I shook it and it rattled. the motor was loose. I didn't want to drive all the way back to Home Depot, so I decided to open it up and have a look. Luckily, the screws are standard phillips type.
There are two screws meant to mount the motor. Neither one was engaged. The one that didn't fall out stayed in the case only because there was a rubber plug behind it. Whoever put this thing together obviously knew the screws weren't tight. Aligning the screws is tricky because there is the motor, a bracket and the case, and it's blind. I was able to do it by using a long probe to align the holes.
Once I got it assembled properly, it works fine. There is a little vibration from fan imbalance, but not too bad.
If you buy one, check it before you leave the store.

Don't buy this heater. Mine failed in less than a year. It was ok while it worked, but even a cheap heater like this one should last more than a few months.

No complaints. It works as it should. Maybe a longer cord would be useful.

Bought it in January. Switch went bad in May. Customer Service #1-888-880-3267 does not connect. Zero rating, zero quality zero value.
