I was thinking of using this on my SYP floors instead of stain or poly? Will this protect them? Also why doe it show coverage at 50sqft when all the other colors are like 400?
Asked by: Crys
Happy to help! We do not recommend Rust-Oleum Watco Danish Oil for use on floors due to the constant foot traffic. Each gallon has a recommended coverage of 577-689 square feet. Please keep in mind that the type and porosity of the wood can affect the coverage rate.

How long does it take for the smell to go away

Asked by: bill
Happy to clear things up, Bill! Since each person has different sensitivities to odor, it's hard to say when the odor will dissipate for each person. The temperature, humidity, and air circulation can affect the cure and dry times. Once fully cured, this product is non-toxic.
