  • Designed as a direct-fit replacement for the majority of installed well tank bases
  • Constructed of deep-drawn steel for durability
  • Polypropylene-lined steel supports water weight to ensure water never sits in loose-fitting vinyl or rubber bags that can fold, crease and wear
  • NSF certified
  • Polypropylene liner separates water from the steel shell to prevent taste or odor from being absorbed into the water; polypropylene liner does not require scheduled replacements for long-lasting use; formed liner fits the steel shell for added durability
  • Sizing - count the number of water fixtures in and outside the home and multiply that # by 3; fixtures include faucets, spickets, showerheads, dish washer, washing machine, etc. for hot tubs and sprinkler systems add 1 to 2 fixtures for each; there are no disadvantages to having a larger well tank as fewer pump cycles will extend pump life and save money on electricity; tank stores a buffer of water in case of power outage

What are the recommended parts to purchase together with this tank?

I see there's a galvanized T (between 13"-16"), a Check Valve on one side, and a pressure gauge on the other. Could you list a complete setup including costs?
Asked by: John
Here's a visual on what you need. The T size depends on what size tank you purchase.

Customer Reviews

86 Gal. Pressurized Well Tank is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value This appears to be a good value compared to other units I looked at. I was pleased that it was made in the USA. I have only had this installed for about a month. It's obviously difficult to rate a product like this in that short time frame. If it was 3 years later and still operating the same I would give it a 5.

No dents or scratches. Inner Bladder was already pre-filled to 38psi (as listed). Seems to be working fine so far. Not much can go wrong other than a ruptured bladder.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk It failed within 2 years and the company warranty is only 1 year. I would give it negative 5 stars if I c ould.

My only problem was that the included literature mentioned the tools and material required for installation, including the 1" pipe to attach to the tank. However the connection was 1 1/4", so I had to return to the store to buy a reducer. No pressure adjustment was needed on the tank, although my pressure switch is 30/50, not 20/40.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for irrigation system. Essential for proper pump operation. Prevents rapid cycling of pump. Be aware that this tank must be installed within five feet of pump for proper operation. In a normal residential installation tank should be installed with a 70 psi pressure relief valve. In this case, this pump will not exceed 70 psi even if the included pressure switch fails.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More water This tank provided much needed larger water capacity and steady water pressure at all sources as needed and puts less stress on our well pump. If you are looking at increasing your water tank I would recommend this one. Easy install. Totally plug and play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far So Good It would have been so much easier if it was already pressurized. When the well is not close to any electrical outlets you have to run extension cords for the air tank in order to pressurize the tank, other than that its a great purchase.
