Remove acids that can stain your home's pipes and fixtures with the Waterboss Acid-Neutralizing Whole-House Water Filter. This powerful whole-house filter is designed to handle pH levels as low as 6.5. The filter is a backwash unit using sand filtration and does not require any salt to operate. The filter handles feed water pressure up to 120 psi and feed water temperatures up to 120°F.

Step 1 Turn Off the Water
A. Turn off the water to the appliance.
B. Open a tap to depressurize the appliance.
C. Close the tap.

A. Use the 3/4-inch (19-mm) socket to
remove the fill plug from the media tank.
B. Insert the siphon hose into the fill port.
C. Siphon the water into the bucket until the
media level in the tank is reached.

Answer: 
If you water has low pH then this unit will raise the pH of your water. 'Normal' pH is 7.0 or higher. Acid water is anything below 6.9. I'm not sure if that helps you.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage. Garbage. Less then 3 yrs old and it started to leak. Called water boss and the sent parts. replaced o rings and parts and it leaked worse. They told me to send it back to them, at my cost, and they'd fix it. i spent hours replacing O rings before I called them and nothing would stop the cheap plastic pieces from leaking. I'm gonna get a Fleck next time. July 6, 2016
