Can this be showerhead used with an adjustible shower arm?

For example, one of these: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Danze-9-in-Adjustable-Shower-Arm-in-Chrome-D481150/202982860?MERCH=RV-_-RV_gm_pip_rr-3-_-NA-_-202982860-_-N

I already have the showerhead and would like to put it on an arm for more height/angle control. But the pivot ball system with the outer ring that screws over the head and ball doesn't seem like it would be compatible, it seems like the wing nut joint on the arm would get in the way of the large nut on the showerhead. Would this still work?
