Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked very well. Two years ago we had a water pressure reducing valve installed because the pressure was so high it was creating multiple plumbing problems. At time of installation the plumber warned us the valve could get clogged over time from the city's main water line. This normally happens when you have to shut off your main water line valve in order to make plumbing repairs. When you turn the water back on the sudden rush of water carries loose debris from the city's pipes into your home. I learned long ago to remove all the aerators from the faucets throughout the house before turning the water back on to allow time for all the debris to be flushed out of the pipes. If you do not do this all the aerators get plugged up. I noticed our water pressure has been decreasing so I purchased this test gauge and followed the instructions. I was surprised to see our pressure had dropped from the reducing valve's factory setting of 60 psi to 45 psi over the two years. I followed the instructions that came with the reducing valve and with the help of the water pressure test gauge quickly returned our water pressure back to 60 psi. This gauge is an outstanding investment for any home owner. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by good value for a quick check for the price, this gauge worked well for me. I have a professional liquid filled gauge but I couldn't find it and got this one to get an inspection completed. I read the other reviews on this product and was doubtful if it would be up to the task. After using it at the inspection site I found my pro gauge at home and compared the readings at my home. This product had the exact same readings as my liquid filled gauge. July 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product-tool When we found out our home water pressure was at 110 pounds pressure we installed a pressure control valve and have been able to regulate the pressure using this great pressure test gauge. The control came set low ... and the gauge allowed us to get the pressure we wanted. Fine tool! November 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Showed me exactly what I needed to know ... This Watts water pressure gauge is an easy and inexpensive way to determine residential or commercial water line pressure. I connected it to an exterior faucet and it confirmed my suspicions about elevated pressure. After repairing my pressure problem I simply left the gauge attached to my faucet for a few weeks to be sure my water pressure remained in a safe range. Good product which does exactly what it implies it does. March 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad from the factory Gage needle was installed on wrong side of the stop pin. The gage could never read above 0 psi. It was obviously never tested. Made in China BTW. I returned it for full refund. March 14, 2012
