Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Measure before you buy Unfortunately the water tubes were too long for me to use and I had to go back to buy shorter ones. Since I had already used the gas hookup I could not return the kit. Not the products fault! It, it is all on me. The product is of good quality. My advice: measure what you need before you buy this kit. May 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WATER HEATER INSTALLATION KIT I was told to buy this kit to install our new water heater by the tech that was doing the installation. What an amazing product. In the past it was required to sweat the pipe fittings on with solder. After he removed the old soldered fitting and put the new fittings in place all that is required is to screw the new fittings on like you are attaching a water hose. Simple, clean and NO LEAKS !! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes it easy The local Home Depot carried a different brand kit that contained the same parts. Since the replacement heater was larger. I had to cut the copper lines going to the heater. This kit made installation a cinch. The compression fittings worked great. No need trying to figure out what fittings or lines you need, everything was in the kit. January 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great set of hoses for replacing hot water tank The compression fittings and flexible hoses were so much easier to install than soldering copper pipe. January 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Made Water Heater Replacement Easy ** Make sure your local municipality approves flexible piping for the gas and water lines ** I also learned that I would need to construct a sediment trap on the gas line. While at the store, I priced out the separate components of this kit only to find out that this kit ended up being cheaper for the same brand parts. Once I started the install, the included compression fittings relieved me of having to solder on threaded fittings to my water lines. (As an occasional weekend warrior, my soldering technique isn't great when soldering threads vertically. Any excess solder tends to drip down and fill the threads.) There were no written instructions included, just a simple picture on the back of the package. But it really is not difficult to figure out how everything works. Especially after watching a few online videos of gas water heater replacement. These flexible lines made installation a snap. I ended up buying this kit again when replacing my parents water heater a few months later. December 10, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Simple Installation The parts fit my 3/4 copper plumbing perfectly. The parts had many excellent qualities and the installation was simple. December 22, 2014
