Could I use it for a different filteration system? I have a regular filter under the sink. I just want to replace the spigot.

Answer:
This faucet does not require any type of water treatment device. My particular setup is an under sink water filter device only. There may be R.O. systems that require an air gap faucet. You would have to ensure which type of faucet it requires; an air gap or non air gap, faucet?

Hi Joseph,
This faucet will work with any filtration system. However you may need to use adaptors to make the connection due to different hose sizes.

I see on the box that this product came in, that there is a check mark box for IY-Ivory in addition to CP-Chrome Plated. So, maybe Watts imports an Ivory one? But it doesn't look like Home Depot carries it. It's manufactured by Likuan Hardware in Taiwan.

I recently bought a faucet from amazon that showed this same picture, but then when it arrived, that part of the faucet was dome-shaped. I do not like the dome shape, and want a faucet with flat sides, just like my old one that has worn out.

Mine is dome and my old one was flat as well. I only had a slight problem trying to line it up while I was installing it but it was only because I didn't have someone here to hold it while I was tightening the nut on the bottom.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by water dispenser Very stylish and sturdy. Hooked up easy and works great. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I can now fill the picher over sink full of dishes! I bought this unit to replace the one I installed in 1980. It was simular but the old one's nozzle was fixed and about two inches over the basin where this nozzle swivels and shoots the water from three to five inches out into the basin. My first concern was that it would be in the way but because it swivles I just swivel out of the way when not in use. The valve appears to be the same as the old one so I expect another 34 years on this one. December 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Replacement Brought this faucet for a replacement because the original was leaking. To bad this was not the original. Love the way the spout moves out of the way when not in use, also the height of the spout makes filling tall containers a breeze. Replaceing this one was as simple as 1 2 3 November 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, great price! We are glad we purchased this item. After a half hour of reviewing all choices, we decided to go with the basic, no frills model. We made the right choice. It not only looks great, but is much better than the original one. We are happy with our decision, you will be too. December 17, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Failing after 5 Months I'm glad I didn't write a review right after installing this faucet. I would have given it a high rating, just like all the other reviews. It seemed well made, installed easily and worked well.... at first. Now after 5 months of use it is failing. The handle has gotten extremely loose (it's floppy) and no longer opens the valve enough to allow full flow. The old faucet lasted 10 years. This one didn't even last 6 months. I chose to purchase this faucet from Home Depot, rather than other, less-expensive faucets found various places on the internet, due largely to all the positive reviews. I'm writing this review now for the sake of anyone else who is considering purchasing one of these. It's possible that I had bad luck and got a defective faucet, but this is my experience with this item. The other reviews all seem to have been written soon after installation. I wonder how their faucets held up over time. October 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Have to admit I have to admit that this faucet seems to be well worth the money so far. I went with it because of the good reviews. Excellent replacement for what I had and so far seems to work even better than the original. Only have had it for a few weeks so only time will tell on its longevity. November 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Replacement for leaking Faucet for our R O System Our R O Dispenser Faucet - replace just a few years ago - was leaking. The provider offered me a replacement for $75. They dropped their price to $45 since I was going to pick it up and install it myself. I found this on the Home Depot Web Site for under $20 and 30 miles closer to pick-up at my local Home Depot. It was very easy to install and is working great. I give this product two thumbs up and an easy inexpensive replacement for someone and maybe an assistant to hold the top while working underneath the sink) with a bit of time and a wrench or pliers. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Faucet This was a perfect replacement for me and it installed very easily. I would highly recommend it as a new installation or replacement. Excellent value for the money also. No complaints!! August 4, 2015
