How do ya remove honey colored ring residue glob from floor

I have put a wax ring under toilet, tilted toilet back down onto floor, but in wrong spot. Turns out, it was put on the wrong place on the floor for too long & made a HUGE mess! Can anyone tell me how to get honey colored glob of mess off of the floor? I tried just cutting out the spot on the floor then replacing it but toilet is heavy & I did it AGAIN! Now I'm out of linoleum scraps to fix floor so that option is out.

Did not use this ring and bolts assy, as the bolts were 1/4-inch size, rather than a 'standard' 5/16-inch. Bought bolts and a wax ring (without the rubber gasket) at HD to complete the installation. The rubber gasket reduces the size of the hole for waste to go through, with could possibly lead to a clog. A plain wax ring will seal well, and not reduce the discharge size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't fit Neither of these products worked. I had to go back to Home Depot and buy a foam rubber ring that was fatter to seal the water from leaking out of the connection of the toilet to the floor. The toiletter bolts were too short to use. I also needed to buy a second set of bolts. I'm a little ticked off at Home Depot because these two products were matched to my online purchase of a toilet and neither one worked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Normally Two "T" bolts needed - not Four Above reviewer (cocoabeachshark) thought kit should have 4 "T" bolts - 2 for each "side". I'm not a plumber but I have never seen a toilet bowl which required more than two "T" bolts to attach to a floor mounted drain flange to the bottom of the bowl. He/she must have a very unusual toilet. Note the flange should be attached to the FLOOR with at least two other bolts of a completely different type. Sometimes these other bolts screw into the sub floor and sometimes they pass all the way through the sub floor and are secured from under the floor with washers and nuts.(my preference). At any rate it is the "usual custom" to only need two "T" bolts of the type which come with this wax ring so it would be a waste to supply more than two for most users. Side note - the toilet fill tank is attached to the toilet bowl with yet another different type/number of bolts.
