Neither of these products worked. I had to go back to Home Depot and buy a foam rubber ring that was fatter to seal the water from leaking out of the connection of the toilet to the floor. The toiletter bolts were too short to use. I also needed to buy a second set of bolts. I'm a little ticked off at Home Depot because these two products were matched to my online purchase of a toilet and neither one worked.

No need for this domed ring to install American Standard two-piece toilet. Our plumber - who had to be called in because 56-year-old pipes in our NYC apt bldg started crumbling and we didn't want a flood - said to use flat ring. You can use thus domed ring, but it makes toilet sit a bit higher on the floor. No need. Remember you need speedies also - those flexible hoses - to install sinks and toilets.

Really not much to say about this wax ring...it does the job it is suppose to do. It was nicely priced, and came with the bolts which I did not need (I used the old ones that were already in place). Would recommend!

a customer should be given the opportunity to have the standard wax ring or the deeper one. the standard one is of no use when the flooring has been replaced with a thicker version, which is the case in most toilet replacements. The alternative is to always give the deeper wax ring, which will fit in all situations.
