I ordered 8 bundles of 16 balusters. Out of all the balusters there were only 3 that were warped. They arrived earlier than expected and were 4 bundles in each box. Free delivery. I am very pleased with the purchase as well as the price for ordering online.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mat1958 no warp for me
My deck rails look great with no warping. After seeing the negative reviews I took the time to kiln dry the balusters. I know everyone doesn't have a kiln but they can be worth the cost for fresh milled or pressure-treated lumber. PTL can almost always use a little time in a kiln

Ballasters Arrived Still Wet...Made Of Uncured Wet Wood...Many Had Major Bow To Them...They Were Not Even Close To Straight....They Look Like Garbage In My Poorch Rails....I Would NOT Purchase Them Again.......

I bought these balusters as they are affordable (spelled "cheap") and used with treated and pre-milled railing also sold at HD. The main issue I encountered (and also noticed in the store) is that this product is prone to warping. My experience is around 20% or more will have this problem. This is due to the balusters being sold and delivered almost sopping wet. To avoid the warping issue the balusters should be already dry when sold... optimally. kiln dried. Unfortunately such a product is not sold at HD. While I appreciate the treated wood, the warping can mean that you're deck or porch railing might end up looking like its made out of fresh pasta. I noticed the warping AFTER installation so I attempted to use some clamps to mitigate the problem before painting.. In hindsight, I probably would get the balusters at least 60 days ahead of installation.and let them thoroughtly dry out, Any that warp get returned with the rest remaining usable.

These bundles of treated balusters save time and money. Expect 2-4 balusters per bundle to be essentially unusable due to twisting or curving.
