CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by 2x2 treated lumber is undersize The pressure treated 2x2s are very undersized. They should be 1-1/2 " square. The ones I measured were only 1-3/16. The 2x4s are the correct size. I bought them and ripped them to make two full size 2x2s. The 2x4s were about the same price as the 2x2s so when you can make two of them the price is half and they are a real piece of lumber. Rated 1 out of 5 by Measure B4 You Buy I needed some 2" x 2" pressure treated lumber to replace railings on my deck. The current railings are 1.5" x 1.5" so I figured 2" x 2" would be the right size. Wrong! Even though the specifications on this lumber state it's 1.5" height by 1/5" width I found the actual size in the store to be 1 3/8" x 1 3/8". I guess the disclaimer in the specs that product "may vary" covers this. Maybe there are stores that have standard 2 x 2 lumber. Anyhow, if you need 1.5" x 1.5" lumber be sure and measure before you buy. June 25, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by WERE HAS ALL THE LUMBER GONE???????? The Yella Guys lumber is good stuff. The amout of lumber you get is not right. The spec. reads for a nominal 2"x2"x8' you should get an actual 1.5"x1.5"x96", WORNG!!!!! You actualy get 1.25"x1.25"x96". I still made my project work with this size lumber. For every 5 sticks the mill cuts they get one free. Does this mean at this rate a contractor will pull up for a lumber pick-up for a couple hundred 2x4 and he will recived a box of tooth picks? Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for my purpose I pre-ordered this item and I was given really warped wood. I used it because it fit my purpose (a pyramid vine trellis) but if I had been building really good things, it would be best to pull the order myself May 7, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 Measure twice guys Everybody on earth knows that 2 x 2 is nominally sized 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 except these jokers. It was 1/4 out on all 8 pieces. July 25, 2013
