Vilano 36 in. x 96 in. Vinyl White with Square Black Aluminum Spindles Straight Railing Kit is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stands out! Pretty much any home owner can install them selves but would need someone to help assist with the install. I used a power miter saw to cut the vinyl and a reciprocating saw to cut the metal. We have had many compliments on how it looks like a picture out of a magazine. The black square spindles stand out with the white vinyl railing. Couldn't be happier with the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice on the eyes, a tough, long lasting, inexpensive Railing With the aluminum inserts safely inside the rails and the rails lying flat on the ground, the first problem came when trying to slide the square railings (pickets) inside the square holes of the rails. None of them would go in without several sharp taps with a rubber hammer and I had to repeat this for the other rail. I put this failing down to the layer of paint on the inside of the rail holes as once the pickets were in; they became easy to slide in and out. Once all the pickets were located in the holes of the two rails and with the two rails lying flat, a gentle push toward each other of both top and bottom rails allowing the pickets to seat themselves all the way into the rails. Once all the pickets were in both sides, the other problem became apparent in that every time I tried to carefully raise the unit off the ground, the pickets decided that they did not wish to be inside the rails and there was an attempted mass `escaped` leaving all the other pickets only situated in one hole in one rail and the ones that `escaped` lying scattered on the floor. Starting again for the third time, I refitted the pickets and carefully made sure that top and bottom were square and were pushed together both rails equally. I also had the top of one rail firmly against a wall as I again lifted it up, this time successfully. Live and learn. Assembly error? Yeah sure it was, but even when fitted together and the side brackets screwed on (all screws supplied), I still could not pick the rail up from the top because all the pickets are loosely fitted inside the rails with nothing to hold them from coming out of the rails, if an attempt is made to lift the rail just by the top or bottom rail at one time. Other than that, everything fitted well. The mounting brackets screwed on after I pre-drilled the holes and were lined up perfectly. Fitting to the already positioned 4x4 posts was also an easy task having measured the width so that was half an inch longer than the length of the rail to allow for the ¼ inch extra for the fitted bracket either side. Once assembled, the Straight Railing is a very tough and secure fixture. So is it worth the cost? Comparing this to many others on the market, yes absolutely. Plus of course it will be very easy to disassemble in case of moving it. Just remove from the posts, pick one end up and all the pickets will fall out. Easy…right?
