Customer Reviews

20 in. x 20 in. x 1 in. Eliminator UV Filter-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped with allergies I purchased this air filter hoping it would help with my allergies. I worked in HVAC commercial sales, and hadn't come across a good home uv filter until I saw this one. I was pleased that I didn't have to drill into the ductwork, and I could install it easily. In less than a week, I can tell the air quality of my house has drastically improved, as well as helping out tremendously with my allergies. Don't be led on by other reviews, if you don't know what size your filter is, don't purchase one until you know for sure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eliminator or Not The Eliminator product boasts about easy installation and replacement. I ordered the 20 X 20 X 1 for my new Carrier Air Handler. I discovered two issues. The first issue is with the Carrier Air Handler air filter. I thought that my current air filter was 20 X 20 X 1. Instead it measures 20 X 21.5 X 1. This means that I would have a 1.5 inch gap that both dust and bacteria can get through. The second issue was with the installation instructions for the Eliminator. The compartment that houses the air filter has a hatch with latch on each side. In order to install the filter you would need to drill a hole large enough in the hatch for the male electrical plug to fit through. This would also require using tape to try and provide an air tight seal for the installation. Because of the two issues, I had to return the Eliminator for a refund.
