CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Clean Pre-Filter I use this as a pre-filter for my A/C and furnace electrostatic air filter to catch larger dust particles and pet hair. I also use it as a pre-filter for my Winix Hepa Air Filter. When used as a pre-filter and cleaned monthly, it will make your Hepa filter last longer by not being clogged with bigger particles. To clean: remove the filter and vacuum it first on the dirt collecting side, next rinse from the inside to the outside (dirt collecting side) with water and a mild detergent. This way you do not wash dirt futher into the filter towards the clean side. Rinse till water is clear. Gently squeeze out excess water and let completely dry (preferably overnight) before reinstalling. When trimming the filter, do not cut to close to the folds in the center of the filter or you may have trouble making It lay flat. I found out the hard way. February 18, 2015
