My wife's mother let us order the grill we wanted as a housewarming present and we could not be happier with it. Home Depot delivered this promptly and we set it up in about two hours, taking our time. Some of the less visible parts were not finished as nicely as I would expect for a grill of this caliber, but they're the ones that are not visible once it's assembled, and they don't impact performance at all.
Everything worked flawlessly from the first try. The burners fired right up, the casters let you roll it easily and the doors align properly. We looked at other Webers before selecting this one and felt this presented the best overall value.

I had a Coleman for over 10 years, but the Weber Genesis E-310 3-burner propane is the best grill I've ever had - even heat, great grates, works great for direct and indirect heat, and you can set the burners so that you can hit and stay at a specific temp.
I also recommend getting the Weber cover - it fits perfectly and keeps the grill in great condition.

We finally upgraded to the Weber and it was worth it! For years we always went cheap with our grills and they would last about 2 years before rusting out here in Florida. Well we bit the bullet and bought the Weber this year and so far it was worth every penny.
I assembled the grill myself and it was pretty straight forward. Easy picture instructions and you only need a few tools. I recommend assembling it yourself so you can understand how everything goes together. Plus you know it was put together correctly.
We've used the grill about a half dozen times and everything works great. She heats up real fast, no flare ups, and there's an even heat throughout the cooking surface. Everything is very sturdy and the design was well thought out. So far we can't find any negatives.
Overall we're very pleased and would definitely recommend buying a Weber.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BobM Glad to get a high qualtiy grill!
My previous Char-Grill gas grill ($399 in 2003) did an admirable job for ~12 years, but not without multiple replacements of the burners, igniter, grates and other minor parts. I decided to step up to a Weber grill based on Consumer's Reports and other recommended sites. Although I have not yet lighted it up the first time, I can tell by the quality of the parts and the durable assembly (threaded brackets, insulating washers and coated fasteners) that this will be a great grill. Although the price may seem to be high at $699, I feel it is worth it based on the overall solid quality of the parts and construction. I'm looking forward to its maiden voyage later tonight!

Not fun to put together, have the store do that for you. Heats up over 600 degrees really fast, sturdy (shake this grill then try a Charbroil), cast iron really holds the heat well, has been easy to clean.
Hopefully should last years.

Was delivered right on time. A bit time consuming to put together but that's because it's so darn well built! I had a Charbroil gas grill for the last 3 years and was not too thrilled with the overall results. The first steaks I grilled on this Weber made me realize the quality I had been missing. This grill is a no brainer. A bit expensive but hey, you get what you pay for and now I'm getting the most from whatever I grill! Very satisfied!

You get what you pay for and this Genesis e-310 is no exception. All of the parts and pieces are clearly manufactured to a higher degree of quality than cheaper grills. The Genesis also features thoughtful bells and whistles that demonstrate the level of thought that was put into designing this grill. For example - rubber nubs that help ensure the tank seats correctly. And a scale that weighs your tank to tell you how much propane is left.
I read a few reviews citing how difficult it was to assemble the grill... it's not that bad. Yes, it will take you a couple hours. But the instructions are pretty clear. I would definitely suggest you have a socket wrench handy in lieu of the cheap wrench they ship with the grill. It will save you a lot of time.

Purchased this grill about 3 years ago, thinking we'd spend the extra money and have a nice grill for years. We bought a cover and have kept it covered and under a porch roof. It has never been rained on. Granted, Florida is humid, but both doors have rusted and fallen off. The hose developed a leak and we bought another one from Weber for $40.00 that has a regulator. It doesn't work! We thought with the high cost, we were buying quality...not so. We emailed the manufacturer which was ignored. We have a $700.00 piece of trash. Weber does not stand behind their product which is without doubt manufacturer's defect...it is not repairable that we know since Weber has decided to ignore our emails. Considering we got at most 10 uses, the cost per use was approx $70.00.
