My 15 year old Weber Spirit grill has traveled from South Carolina to Baton Rouge, Diamond Head and all over the Gulf coast as we cooked during our hurricane recovery work for the people who experienced damage from hurricane Katrina; however; it still cooks great but I thought it was time for a replacement so I ordered a Genesis E-310. I was amazed at the quality of this new Genesis E-310 Weber grill as I assembled it, great instructions and I put it together without a single problem, so I know I can count on another 15 years of great cooking with a Weber gas grill. Thanks for the superior quality that goes into a Weber grill.

This grill looks great and just has a high quality feel, but that is not the best part. From experience I know you can buy a grill that looks fancy and has more features for less money, however they cannot achieve the same temperatures, they heat unevenly, and within 2-3 years they start falling apart and the burners start malfunctioning.
I find that high quality grills like the Weber make cooking so much easier, the food comes out better, and they last a very long time. So while initially they are much more expensive they do pay for themselves in the long run and you have a much better cooking experience throughout.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rms71 My first Weber-What a Difference!
Bought this grill unassembled and fit it in my wagon. I did not purchase assembled because it needed to go up stairs and it is HEAVY. So I brought it up piece by piece and assembled it on our deck. I am a 44 year old female, and the instructions are intimidating at first. All pictures, no explanation...but a closer look proves them very good, right down to telling you which color screw and washer to use where. I did not have to go back steps and retrieve incorrect hardware used anywhere. It took me 2 hours to assemble. Plus a half hour to unpack. It is packed VERY well. I had NO leftover pieces, all items fit together perfectly. Nothing misaligned, nothing machined improperly.
Performance-HOLY MOLY. The ignition system is fabulous. Starts right up easily. This thing achieved 300 degrees in 5 minutes. 400 degrees, 500 degrees minutes later. Seriously. The owners manual does say it will run hot the first few uses, so I imagine that will get a little slower, but the heat was so very easy to control. I seasoned it by coating the grates in oil and running at 500 degrees for half an hour. Then I let it cool and made sausage. 2 big trays of sausage. They cooked evenly, seared perfectly even without using the sear burner. The burners are heavy duty, and each is their own. They do not rely on each other to light through a rail. The grates are super heavy. They weigh a ton. Even the flavor bars, so heavy and no flex.
Now....why did I spend this kind of money on a grill? Bought a Brinkmann Elite 2 seasons ago. It replaced a 10 year old Fiesta (rip, I loved that thing) It never ever started correctly. Always scared me to start it. The first season, it was ok. Second season it took a while to heat up. 20 minutes just to get to 300. Third season....I had to light two of the burners with a match and I am done with it. The brinkmann was a gas hog. 5 burners including the sear burner, and you had to use them all to get it to temp. So, I went through a ton of gas. Bigger is not always better. So, in short, 2 years later, a lot of gas, and a $300 price tag got me no where. I got what I paid for. I cant say it was not worth the money, it was a $300 grill and a big one at that. But so was my Fiesta and it lasted 10. It also started to look pretty shabby. Stainless discolored, surfaces stopped coming clean despite the grill being under cover when not in use. The decision to go with a weber was born from using my brother's 15 year old weber and being so amazed at how evenly it cooked, and how easily it started, and the condition it was in...after 15 years. I read all the reviews and all I can hope is I get the same lifespan out of it.
In short, I am very impressed with Weber's packaging, ease of putting together, quality, and performance. It is an investment, but in the long run, worth it. The warranty is long too...much longer than other brands...10 years on the burners. If you can swing it, you will not be disappointed and you will spend less in the long run.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PeterA Easy to use and to control
I don't know why I waited so long to take the plunge. I guess it was the cost and wonder if it would be worth it. It definitely was! The grill was easy to assemble with the clear directions enclosed. It lights easily, heats up to temperature quickly and the range of heating options perfect. I've had it only two weeks and produced the best steaks, chicken and traditional hot doge and hamburgers ever.

A sturdy rock solid cooking instrument.
Heats up quickly and evenly.
Temperature is easy to control.
From grill to grease pan, this grill cleans up easy using Weber's cleaning sprays.
I own a small Weber for my RV for at least 7 years. Works great and it still looks new so I decided to go with a large model for home.
I've spent tons of money on grills that just didn't last so this is money well spent.
Slow cooked chicken legs and thighs with lid down to melt fats. Transferred legs to upper rack turned off 2 burners and continued with grilling thighs to perfection. Caramelize BBQ sauce and it was the best chicken ever.
For burgers, I pre-heated the grill to 400° F
Then began to grill burgers with lid down. Never ever had a overheating condition. Even heat.. No flames.
I'm giving this grill and my other Weber 5 stars. I'm glad I bought it. Sharp looking. Cleans easy. Outstanding Warrantee. Should be my last grill.

Assembly on a windy day took about 2 hrs, This grill is solid as a rock, works like a charm, and looks fantastic! Burgers, dogs, steaks, veggies, chicken, and pizza have all tasted great. Cleans up easy and doesn't flare up. My first Weber survived 12 yrs. and I'm hoping for the same with this one.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robert Excellent grill.
It was easy to assemble.. The hardest part was moving it around to the back of my house. It is heavy and I moved it around a few pieces at a time. Very solid. Clearly the sturdiest grill I've ever owned. It heats up quickly to 500 degrees as others have said and cooks evenly. I covered it with the generic cover Home Depot sells. Half the price and fits perfectly. Overall I am totally pleased with my purchase.

I absolutely love this grill...this is my second weber...easy push of a button and it's ready! Weber will always by my choice...cooks evenly and is flavorful. My first grill lasted over 10 years, still works, it was just time for a new one and the new grill has more area to sit things, controls are on the front instead of on top of the right side.....one happy griller here!
