Purchased the S-330. This is our 3rd weber that we've bought for ourselves (and another as a housewarming gift). Wouldn't purchase any other brand. Very happy with it. The searing function as part of the actual grill is great. I find some of the other grills are so LARGE they become cumbersome. This one is the perfect size. ADVICE? If you can, spend the $40 and let Home Depot assemble it. Most of the review issues are about assembly.

I picked up mine at the Aurora store a week ago (Father's day gift in Advance), luckily they had one assembled and ready to go. However, after using it for just a couple of days, I noticed rust like specks on the stainless surfaces (the BBQ was used with a cover right from the first day). The folks at Home Depot Aurora were very co-operative and agreed to replace it. The next one had to be assembled and I waited 3-4 days for that.
Finally after replacement and using it for another couple of times, I am extremely happy with the results. This Weber looks extremely good and cooks even better. A very well built unit with top quality materials. Heats up super quick, 600degF in approx. 8-9 minutes. I have already tried steak, burgers, veggies, sausages, Chicken breast and everything turned out just perfect.. this BBQ allows very precise control of temperature while cooking. Very Happy with this one..

Husband and I put this together easily on the patio, after picking it up at Home Depot. I was personally challenged by the picture-only instructions, but that is my own 3-D spatial thinking gap to deal with. We pre-ordered on-line (through our airline miles website, linked to Home Depot, to earn 1,000+ miles) and it was ready and waiting for us by the Home Depot main door, within an hour. Prior grills that we have owned, more expensive than this, had issues that had to be addressed each season, mainly due to rusting and deterioration. We are so happy we finally decided to give this highly rated Genesis a go! Heats very quickly, and hot!!! Even cooking, very consistent. We also splurged on Grill Grates, which only amplify our overall satisfaction with the Genesis. We're very happy, and highly recommend this grill!!

The grill is just as good as advertised. With all three burners on full, it gets to 600 degrees in just a few minutes. The stainless steel appears to be of the highest quality, and it looks like the grill will last for a very long time with minimal care. I also love the scale that weighs the tank and lets you know how much gas you have left. It's not inexpensive, but it's a perfect example of the old adage "You get what you pay for." I've had three other gas grills, and none came close to the quality of the Weber. In my view, it's worth every penny.

I have owned a lot of grills in my life. I use my grill. Purchased this grill last week have used it every evening. I have to say this is the best grill I have ever owned! The quality, the looks, and the controls for temp are the best I have ever had. I think the price is right for this product. I have never been a fan of the seared section on grills because of the difficulty keeping the searer clean. However with Weber's design the searing section is protected from dripping meats. It works great. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to cook outside!

I've owned my Genesis S-330 about three years now and it is still working fine. There are only two issues I have with it. The burners are not that powerful, I wish they were a touch more powerful, and the right side has a flavorizer bar with no burner under it. It's a wasted space. Sure, it's good for indirect cooking, but grease accumulates under the dummy flavorizer bar. If you're trying to fill the grill with steak, it's not so good. The left side with the sear burner actually necessary just to get it to heat up properly. This thing is $850 on sale. They could have added an extra burner and charged $50 more. I would have gladly paid for the fifth burner. Instead, I think Weber is trying to protect it's Summit lineup which do have burners under each flavorizer bar, but cost a lot more.
What it's good at. If you let it heat up with all burners on it will sear a steak nicely. The burners do have good flame adjustment control, and it does a good job of indirect cooking such as chicken or steak that has already seared. The quality of the lid and cabinet is impressive too. The S-330 is the first grill I've owned that can handle a strong breeze without the burners being affected. Granted, you can't lift the lid much or you'll lose a lot of heat, but the burners are well insulated from wind. The lid is large and short people like my wife don't care for opening it because she gets too close to the heat when opening it.
I wouldn't buy it again, only because of the missing burner. Unfortunately, I imagine I will be "stuck" with my S-330 for a long time since it doesn't appear to be wearing out any time soon. I will probably buy a Summit someday since I would like the option of a "really" hot grill.
One tip which is important for all grills. You have to keep the inside clean of old drippings and rust debris. The grates are stainless but the flavorizer bars rust and flake a lot of debris. After awhile drippings accumulate under the burners and the grease fire that is created is not good for cooking, or the grill. Buy a cheap shop vac and use it to remove the loose debris and it will keep performing well.

The BBQ unit was on sale so I took advantage of a nice savings and bought my dream BBQ. Transaction and loading of the unit went very smoothly, so thanks Home Depot!

Quality construction and looks sharp. Used this grill for over a year and it cooks evenly across the grill (no hot spots). Expect to get many years out of this BBQ.
