Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by new grill design is a failure We have had several of these grills over the years on our boat as coals are not safe or allowed in some marinas and they cooked well and were not messy. The new design eliminated the "flavorizer plate" and the chrome wire grill surface. They new grill surface is a series of "U" shaped tubes that channel the grease down into the bottom. if the surface is not level as are most surfaces on a boat, the grease drains to one end and drips out the vent holes. Without the grease contacting a hot surface there is no smoky flavor, You may as well pan fry. The result is a mess in and under the grill and a search for a replacement is underway. Too bad, as the old style Weber was ideal for us. August 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Grill Will not stay lit unless on high! One slight breeze and flame goes out! October 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Give Back the Old Grill I have had 3 go anywhere grills. I use them daily until I bought the newest one They last about 2 yrs with daily use.. The new grill gets gummy and it is hard to clean. I used to fire it up and scrape the grill with the barbeque brush and I was good to go. Not with the new one. The grill gets hot but does not scrape clean. They need to go back to the old design. Why is it that every time you find something you like they go and upgrade it and change it. I want my old grill back. So, I called the Weber people and for $37 bucks more I can get the grill and for another additional charge I can get the flavorizer. Just put it back and forget your new upgrades. September 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Portable Grill Around Since this grill is small, we take it everywhere we go. It is easy to use and very light weight. December 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! The assembly went well except for two clips that were very difficult to get in place. The grill works fine, though, and we enjoy using it. July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good deal and just what I wanted. Grill was already together. Nothing to asemble except to put the grill grate in place. March 25, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not bad, but needs improvement its a good product overall, but the price is a bit high for what it is. also, the choice of the grill plate that you place your food on was the worst addition. weber needs to stick to the tried and true tested normal grates. May 6, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good As a Weber BBQ goes it's built very good, one thing I can understand is that there is no design for the grease to drip into an external pan. this needs to be designed in the future. I will drill a hole for that but I don't want to compromise the metal. otherwise it's a nice little unit. July 29, 2014
