This is just a great pizza stone in general. It works well in both an oven and fits nicely into the Weber grill insert. We have used it many times and love pizza on the grill! Seasons very nicely over time.

I watched the video (on the Weber site) several times prior to using. I heated the stone to 400f, used corn meal, and the crust STUCK. When I finished cooking, the stone stuck to metal handles. Removing the stone from the handle, I chipped the stone. The crust was baked onto the stone, and the corn meal burnt onto the stone. Soaked stone in water and got crust off, but is black in many areas. Used again, heated stone and then cooked at 300f. Coated with flour, I had much better results. Don't use to many toppings. Weber replaced my chipped stone. Weber is an awesome company. I order grill, cover, and stone on line not good experience at local store.

I bought this pizza stone since our kitchen oven was temporarily out of commission. My Spirit gas BBQ was recruited as a secondary oven. We cooked a frozen pizza after allowing the stone to come up to temp as recommended. The end result was every bit as good as if it had been cooked in the house oven, maybe even a little better. The pizza stone is a welcome addition to our Gourmet BBQ system on the Weber grill.

Works great! We set the grill at about 450 degrees when we make pizza and it comes out great!

This was recommended by a Weber grill owner, and we've used this to make pizza from scratch in our BBQ, which is NOT a Weber grill.
We've had fabulous results on the grill as well as in the oven, and cooking from frozen or even heating up frozen leftovers! It even gives a great texture to frozen gluten-free crusts!
Just be sure to use LOTS of cornmeal so the crust doesn't stick. And always remember to remove the pizza from the stone before you slice it.
I love the rack for transporting the pizza.
Do go online to learn about how to use a pizza stone properly -- there isn't much information with the product itself.
My first pizza stone was NOT a Weber and it cracked the first time I used it, so I would only recommend the Weber even though it is more expensive.

I love my Weber grill and one of the main reasons I chose it was because of the inserts (griddle, pizza stone, etc). The pizza stone should have come with a pizza spatula as it needs to be pre-heated on the grill. On the Weber website there is a video of a man making pizza using this grill and stone, and he uses a pizza spatula. I am having a difficult time finding a pizza spatula to buy separately (they seem to be sold only with other stones). Also, some instructions on how to use this would have been nice instead of having to search the internet and experiment. The stone is a little small to accommodate the pizza dough recipe that I have always made, so I have to make 2 small pizzas or 1 medium and toss out the remaining dough.

Great addition to my collection of Weber products. It allows for a good smoke flavor to your pizza.

Pizza stone did not fit in grill despite label on box matching instructions from Grill owners manual. The carrying rack was also missing.
