CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing Compared to Original Went to the Weber web site to ensure I bought the right parts. This is it, Model #7524 my 5-year old Genesis E-320. They fit the grill and I have no problems with food sticking, but these are inferior to the original. Right out of the box, they don't look or feel as substantial as the originals. Perception? No, I weighed both. New grates- 6.5 pounds each. Originals - a solid 9 pounds each. So, some of the advantage of the heavy cast iron is lost. Not a big deal for a few burgers, but I do notice a difference in heat retention/searing ability when I load up the grill with a large amount of food. If they were also 25% cheaper, this might be a good trade for the consumer. If you have a newer Genesis and are happy with the performance, you will like these. If you have an older grill, you may want to consider some aftermarket grates. I bought some heavy gauge stainless steel flavorizer bars for a third the cost of the Webers and they seem to be of very good quality. July 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Flat Side Up! In response to Franknotaplumber, You mention that it is hard to brush after cooking because it has sections that are higher than the rest of the grate. This is because you have the grate upside down. Weber recommends that you cook with the flat side up rather than the pointy side up. Just a FYI! July 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but very pricy This is a very good product but you really have to pay for it. June 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect fit Be sure you know your model & dimensions of the grate, but if you do expect a perfect fit. I am trying to remember to brush with oil to help with sticking, it seemed to help on the first use but I forgot next time and can stick pretty easy, my fault, I am going to remember next time. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product-easy to clean and they stay hot- They are a true pleasure to cook on--heavy duty-sturdy grates that will really last. April 28, 2014
