Answer:
Fred, I chose not to buy the cart and am glad I did. I set this directly on a 4' plastic folding table with very minimal radiant heat to the table. This is a great grill. You will love it.

Answer:
Very easily. We take it with us in our RV. The grill sits on the end of the picnic table; we put the propane tank on the ground below it.

Answer:
Definitely - it is not all that large and has feet that would fit on a regular sized picnic table - and the gas bottle is not an issue if you use the regular 1lb propane bottle.

This is the only propane source that I use. The small bottles are too expensive. Yes to the 20 lb. gas bottle.

Apparently there is an adapter and hose for the 20lb gas bottle, however from research, it appears that this is prone to causing problems...

The Weber Q220 gas grill uses disposable 14.1- or 16.4-oz. LP cylinders only (which are sold separately). You may also purchase our 6 ft. adapter hose which will make this product compatible with a 20 lb. propane tank. If you have any additional questions please give us a call at 1-800-446-1071.

Probably about 15 lbs. It is easy for me to handle, but I would not want my wife carrying it because it is kind of bulky to carry.

Answer:
I have the Q 220 and the griddle. The griddle easily fits on top of the cooking grate so you can easily switch from grill to griddle and back by inserting or removing the griddle. If you want to switch frequently when cooking, you'll need to someplace to place the very hot griddle when it comes off the grill.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 60 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality and easy to use Christened my grill last night with 2 of the most delicious and moist pork loin chops ever! So easy to use and to clean up afterward. This is a quality grill, and I love that the actual grill plate is cast iron to hold heat, and that the slots are not so huge that veggies or smaller things would slip through. I will enjoy this often!! Looking forward to burgers for supper tonite! August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product has great features This grill is great! Better than the larger patio grills we have had. Plus it is portable. We bought the cart for this grill which is awesome. May 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is very easy to use ! We were looking for a gas grill that is not too big and easy to handle. However the cooking space needed to be big enough because we are a family of 5. The grill we bought is the perfect solution for us. It is very easy to use, it heats fast, the meat we grill tastes good. April 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by look no further ! This is one awesome BBQ. Why spend more $$ than you have to ? Solid and well-built, Weber makes quality products. You get your monies worth. The Q 220 cooks anything you put in it quickly & evenly. Burgers, steaks, chicken, fish ... cook just as well at the edges of that cast iron grill as they do in the centre. The heat distribution is amazingly even. Small in size, but this unit will cook up enough food at one go to feed a small army. I did alot of research before buying a Weber BBQ and I have no regrets - it was a wise decision, and the Q 220 will satisfy the BBQ needs of 99% of the population. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere ... get a Q 220 ... and be happy ! April 26, 2009
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wont Heat and Other Problems I have owned this grill for almost one year. Used it last summer on a camping trip , stored over the winter and now it will not heat. I believe the problem is in the regulator as the amount of gas follwing to the burner is very low regardless of the setting on the volume control. The second issue is the ignitor only lights once every 8-10 times but that too can be caused by low gas flow. The last issue is too much aluminum making the grill loose heat in a cold or windy condition. Everyone raved about this grill but after a few times, it became an expensive dud! Oh it is very heavy for a portable grill too. May 15, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Capable Portable Weber makes the premium portable BBQ. Shopped the competition most had cheap grills, flimsy, rusted, hard to clean - most of these concerns well addressed by this rig. Durable Alum construction, cast grills, stainless burner, easy to start, heats up quickly, large enough to get beyond the basic burgers. Many rather expensive attachments extend the usefulness, care and transportability of this grill. Probably all the grill you would ever need even for home use, maybe even a bit more grill than I need. The Baby Q would likely handle better than 95% of my grilling needs. Go get one. June 11, 2008
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy and effective Bought for a dockside location with not too much space available. Assembly was straightforward. Connected 1lb propane bottle, opened it up, and hit the Start button - worked first time and every time so far - way better the the Start button on my PC - but that is another story!! Reached 500 degrees quickly - be careful if you like your steaks rare - if you follow their recommendations and only open to flip over once you will be amazed at how quickly the cook - or overcook to medium :-( enough space for a BBQ for four oir five people easily - and we eat a lot of meat! Excellent product April 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Didnt know what to expect I have been looking for a grill to use at the campground where i keep my camper but the grill has to be small enough to store in my camper compartment when i am not there. This ansers that for me but i was wondering how such a small grill would do. Well i can say the Webber name came thru agai n and was a big sucess. I made hamburgers , steak , and a 3 pound pork loin and it all turned out fantastic. The grill heats up fast and was very easy to clean. I was a little suprised that even on low heat it was at 375-400 I was hoping i could cook some things on low heat but anyway i got the adpter for the 20lb tank so i wouldnt have to worry about running out of gas when cooking a meal also got he fold down cart and glad i did.
