After attempting to buy several more expensive grills at competitor beginning with L and finding them incapable of properly assembling and successfully delivering a grill (2 assembled wrong, 1 dropped off truck), I decided to go with this one and assemble it myself. It was easy to assemble compared to old grills that I have had in past and cooks great. Lid was damaged (right where you see it the most naturally), but I decided to keep it anyway, given that I simply don't have any more patience to deal with grills. And they wonder why people aren't buying American. Weber, at least, seems to know what they're doing.

Last summer I purchased a Weber Q100 for camping... what a great little barbeque. I was so impressed that today I bought the Weber Q300 to replace our home barbeque that died after only 5 years... replacement parts were very expensive and a hassle to find.
...took only 45 minutes to assemble.
...is very well engineered.
...directions are clear and concise.
...has a small footprint on the deck yet has ample cooking space to meet for our needs.
...the side tables fold down when not in use... another spacesaving feature.
As I was leaving the store, two other customers came up to me and said that this was a great little barbeque.

I have had Weber for more than ten years and my latest acquisition is the best experience I have had with Weber.
It cooks well, is easy to clean and a pleasure to cook on.
Although the surface space is limited, it works very well for me as I BBQ at least three to four times a week and when entertaining, whether four, six or as much as eight people, which is pushing it somewhat, the 300 Portable
Gas grill has managed to cope well and the food always to perfection.
The only negative if you can call this a negative is that I
have a problem removing the grease trap alluminium tray
which often sits quite tight and if over full can be a little messy when trying to remove. I am sure this can be addressed and sorted out quite easily.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GTAdweller Fantastic unit, do not be deterred
I was very close to buying this unit, but read some reviews where people claimed food / steaks couldn't be charred, or took a long time to cook.
Regrettable decision. Since then, I purchased a standard BBQ, and later bought a portable Q100 (the baby version of this Q300). Let me tell you, the Q100 is the original portable BBQ that uses portable canisters - and it cooks food EXTREMELY well, and chars and sears food very easily and quickly. If anything, I have to reduce the heat on that little unit.
This Q300 is a larger unit and has bigger burners. To anyone who doubts its capabilities - don't! You'll be extremely happy - it has a great style, small footprint, and works amazingly well.

We bought this to replace our older Weber grill. We store our grill in the garage and roll it in and out whenever we use it. We were interested in finding one that would be more compact and were impressed with the drop down trays on this model. It was quite easily assembled by two arthritic seniors with basic tools. I've cooked steaks, chicken breasts and corn this week and found the heat distribution very even , and the time and temp recommendations spot on. Very happy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ESR1570 High Quality Grill. Excellent heat distribution.
Up to Weber standards. Large evenly heated cooking surface with small deck footprint. Easy to assemble and well packaged for shipment. Lots of cardboard for recycling as it was double boxed. looks like it has a long lifespan. Time will tell on the uncovered burners as to grease drippings clogging holes. Cast iron cooking surface a pleasure to use. It may be dense enough to minimize grease drops below. Waiting to see about propane usage. The CharBroil pro series is a fuel waster.

The Weber Q300 is the bomb. We were in need of a new BBQ after we received new furniture for our patio, the old one was big and clunky for the redesigned space. I visited Home Depot 3 times looking at this particular model and was worried about the size, simply because we do a lot of entertaining this time of the year. I purchases this at 5:30pm was home and had it assembled in 40 minutes. Actual assembly time was 20 minutes start to finish. Used a stop watch because people were saying 45 minutes. Prepared dinner for 10, multiple doneness for steaks. This was the best dinner ever. No flare ups, no hot spots steaks perfectly cooked. Everyone is so happy with this grill. Small foot print, big results. It rocks

We bought the grill after doing some research online and going to a consumer reporting service. We liked the looks and read that the cooking surface and heating was well distributed.
Have used the gril several times and it took two or three to get accustomed to the heating mode, but it's a great grill for the price and cooks a mean tenderloin.
Product was ordered through the web page and was on the ground in just a few days.
Good purchase, good grill, great experience.
