Answer:
Yes but I would not recommend it. There are several smaller Q series grills that would be better suited for portability. The 3200 model is light enough so that it can be easily lifted into the back of a pickup type vehicle by one person after the propane tank is removed.

No, this grill does not detach from the stand to become portable. For portability, you may want to look at the Weber Q1000.

Thank you for your question. It does not detach from the stand. A more portable option which does detach would be the Weber Q 2200 with Weber Q cart 6525. See the links below.

Answer:
Hi! Thanks for your question! Weber grills cannot be converted from LP to NG, or vice versa. Doing so will void the warranty on the grill. The Q 3200 does come in a natural gas ready version: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Weber-Q-3200-2-Burner-Natural-Gas-Grill-57067001/204671624?keyword=57067001. Thanks!

Hi Lynne625, Weber makes an either or grill, so you have to order one that uses natural gas. Weber grills are not convertible from propane to natural gas or visa versa.

Answer:
The wings are plastic but they seem to be strong and heat resistant. I previously owned a Char Broil all metal grill. The Weber, even with plastic, seems much more sturdy and durable.

They are plastic, but they are sturdy and yes hot items can be placed on them without harm. And I love the grill cart and when the tank is in there it is totally sturdy!

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The folding tables are a thermoset plastic, a hot pad or plate maybe suggested if removing a hot pan from the grill to insure the plastic doesn’t melt on the table. The grill cart and frame are very durable and sturdy. If you have any further questions, please contact Weber Customer Service at 1-800-446-1071.

Answer:
No. The size, weight and propane tank placement limits movement of the grill. Full dis-assembly is the only way I see to detach the grill.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Actually, quite amazing! The dome shaped lid provides the cooking effect that Weber is known for. The ability of the lid to direct heat back on the food allows you to enjoy the benefit of a kettle cooker with the ease of a gas grill. My wife loves it because she can cook chicken without burning it or undercooking it--the reflective heating cooks the food evenly and completely. I was able to cook oysters Rockefeller on it and get the topping nicely browned. Great for summer cooking when you don't want to use the inside oven. This is not my first Weber grill, but I think it is the best. All Weber grills are great, but this one stands out for a very affordable grill. June 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by returned I too, had a regulator that leaked. Weber quickly sent a replacement but it leaked as well. Home Depot did take the grill back without any problems. Had I known about the construction of it before I ordered it, I never would have. I didn't see it until after a friend of mine put it together. Way too much plastic, the side tables and base are flimsy plastic, the tables come off easily when moving the grill. I was going to keep it with the plastic because I felt it was my fault I didn't do the research. I guess 2 faulty regulators was a blessing in disguise ! This time I will go into the store to buy a more solid grill June 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEST GRILLE I EVER HAD I JUST LOVE THIS GRILL. AWESOME FEATURES AND THE MOST E Z GRILL I EVER PUT TOGETHER HANDS DOWN. CLEANING IS QUICK AND EASY. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKING AND YOU WILL GET THE MOST MOIST, AWESOME FAVOR FOOD GOING. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANY OTHER GRILLE THAN Q SERIES AGAIN. A+ April 11, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Returned This was the second Q3200 I had purchased. Loved my first one. This time around I got a defective gas line/regulator...it leaked gas. Weber sent me a new one but that leaked as well. Very frustrated so I returned it. Purchased the Weber Spirit instead. I used it last night after assembling it myself (very easy). Used it to cook dinner and it was perfect:))!! May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cooks good but assembly was not bad ....but know handles to move around ...the plastic shelf comes off when you try to use it as a handle to move it....I don't like that the plastic support that the grill is attached too is so low...makes tuff to change the bottle would be easier to change from the side plus iam not sure how long the battery will last in the battery operated striker...may corrode and then no striker May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love our Weber gas grill We upgraded to this Weber from the smaller, portable version and are so glad we did. While we love our 10 year old Weber, we needed more grill space. It performs exactly as expected - great. The temperature gage in the lid is awesome; it lets us know when we have completed preheating the grill. The height of the grill stand was an unexpected bonus; the portable version in the Weber stand looks to be about a foot lower. I'm 6'5" so adding those extra inches has made a big difference for comfort. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well made efficiency First, this grill came with a booklet of clear assembly instructions. I personally would have wanted a little more text but the illustrations were pretty clear. During assembly I made one mistake but with the instructions booklet it was easily corrected. At the finish the grill was completely and correctly assembled. The assembled grill felt solid and fully functional. This grill was designed to cook with the lid down. Cooking is much faster with this design and fuel is conserved. I prepared good hamburgers the first use but I overcooked steak my next use. It took me some practice but I've learned how to use the heat intensity and time to get prepare excellent chicken and fish. There are accurate basic cooking directions but the unique grilling system needs a more detailed cookbook. By my fifth use I felt confident that I was beginning to master the closed lid system. Cleaning is really important to maintain cooking efficiency and grill durability. As desirable as such a product would be I am unaware of any "self cleaning" grill. The Q 3200 is relatively small and it has a simple burner arrangement. Cleaning is not fun but it is easier than other grill designs. The disposable tray is a nice feature. The clean up is still work the effort is somewhat less than other standard grills. The one negative about the Q 3200 is the high price. It is smaller and lighter than other 2 burner models. Plastic parts are used effectively. I believe the price can be reduced by 25% and the product would still be profitable. Weber has all their 2 burner grills priced at one maximum but the reduced size and weight of the Q 3200 make it worthy of a more reasonable price. I'm satisfied with the quality and performance of Q 3200 but until the price is brought down I consider the grill a mediocre value. May 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Small and useful I wanted a grill that fit on a small deck or in the garage and this one fit the bill. It is well made and I like the size of the cooking area. Well built and sturdy with Weber quality. April 5, 2016
