The gridle is of good quality, but just to small.I would say the gridle is 5" X 8" for two single yoke egg's.The grill's cooking space is 10" X 15" use a med. size frying pan.I sent it back to Home Depot.

The other people who wrote reviews on this griddle were complaining it was too small? It is smaller than that, it will cook two eggs if you are careful. Bacon hangs over the edge of this Griddle. In my humble opnion it would be better if redesigned to fit at least half of the 1000 series grill.

I like the rest of the reviews (should've read them before I purchased) think this plate is WAY too small. I was expecting a swap out griddle for one of the grates. We will be returning it.

we love our new Weber grill, however the accessory of this grill was a bit dissapointing for the size is very small from what it looked like online. One can fry a couple eggs or patties, we were wanting to do bacon and kabobs.

This was purchased with the understanding that you could grill on it, but it's only 5 inches wide and 5 inches long. Very disappointed.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bekki Don't know why this one is specifically for Q series.
I was expecting a swap out grill plate, since it's designated for Q series, I thought it would fit the shape of the grill. Wrong. Read the plate dimensions. The griddle sits on top of the Q grill racks, takes longer to heat, which is a downer since the grill doesn't get as hot as full size grills, (but that's a separate review.)I never fully tested it's griddle usage since it's so small, it would have taken at least four of these to make pancakes quick enough to actually eat breakfast before noon (1 small/medium pancake per griddle). Might be ok for a couple of eggs. I cooked bacon on the grill side, and it was fine, but took a lot longer to cook than just laying the strips right on the Q grill, with the same finished taste. The griddle plate is solid, but heavy. Too heavy to remove easily while cooking, which I ended up doing when I gave up on cooking on the small griddle plate. It has a hole drilled in each of the corners(for drainage is my guess) but no tool to use to pick it up with. You would have to buy at least 4 of these, maybe 6, in order to fully cover the grill top. Too pricey.

very small not sure if I will keep it. no way could you do than 1 pancake on it at a time. Really was hoping that it was bigger and covered the whole grill.
