It is not recommended nor suggested to use a charcoal grill in an enclosed space; which a screened-in porch is considered unless you have an exhaust fan directly over the fumes. I would recommend an electric appliance like a small "George Foreman" grill if you want to cook there. Here is a reference: http://www.southernliving.com/home-garden/solutions/happy-grilling

There is little to no heat conducted through the legs so it shouldn't cause any damage. However, you will have little bits of charcoal come out which may cause little burn marks. Also, this thing has 3 legs so it won't balance on a single rail or whatever. If you can get a little table to keep it on you should be fine.

It heats up very quickly and might be a fire hazard in a closed area. You will need some sort of ventilation to the outside. It is a high performer that uses very little space. Personally I would not recommend it to be used on a glass enclosed porch.

I am debating between this one and go anywhere portable grill. Of course this is cheaper so I would like to buy this one, but not sure if it will fit in my car trunk because of the dome type of lid.

It's fairly compact. I had it in the back seat of my truck with a lot of room to spare. I would think it would fit in the trunk with no proplems.

The Smokey Joe Portable Grill measures 17" tall, by 14.5" wide, so as long as the trunk on your Honda Accord is taller than 17" it will fit. Thanks!

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 90 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As Good as It Gets I have owned this small grill for many years. It is the only grill a person needs, because the circular grilling area is deceptively large. And, why a large grill at all? The small grill allows you to sit down when cooking. People using the monster grills of modern days need to go find chairs. Smokey Joe is as good a consumer purchase as there is. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good little grill! Single guy good grill...would be ok for two people. September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice little grill Very good product since it is easy to move around. You have to manually dump the charcoal out. And you really have to watch your food since the flame is so close to the food. But all that aside its a really nice little grill. Go get yourself one today. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect size Since buying Smokey (yes, he has a name) I've used it about 4 times. I love that it's light-weight. Easily fits in my trunk. Doesn't need a lot of charcoal to get the job done. I wish the drip tray was easily removable to clean it out. I'd like the handle to be made out of wood because the plastic does get hot sometimes. It's the perfect travel grill and I have a tiny home so it's really easy to store away. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Size is just right for the one of me!! This is my second Smokey Joe; I use the last one for over 14 years and it finally died. August 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great grill for a family of 4. The grill was easy to put together. The last Smokey Joe I had lasted me 7 years. June 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grill Was able to use it for multiple events and is easy to carry and handle. July 19, 2016
