Does the spirit E-310 come with a rotissery?

Asked by: Bill
it is available but needs to be purchased from Weber web site --you will need to get on your hands and knees to get the numbers off of the floor of the grill so that they get you the correct part

Propane tank sits on the ground?

One of the reviews complains that the propane tank sits on the ground, which means moving the grill around would be very difficult. That's not accurate, is it?
Asked by: m2m2
No, it's not. The tank is not supposed to sit on the ground. The tank is supposed to be mounted to & hang from the fuel gauge mechanism. So if your tank is on the ground, you're not using the grill correctly by not attaching the tank to the fuel gauge mechanism per the instructions, (or you didn't install the fuel gauge mechanism). The hole is there & bigger than the tank because when the tank is full & hanging from the gauge, it will hang below the bottom plate - the hole is big enough to allow for the diameter of the tank.

Is the propane tank supposed to sit on the ground? The place for it looks too large.

Asked by: steve4020
No, you hang it on the rack gauge to the side and it tells how much gas you have.

Spirit E-310 3-Burner Propane Gas Grill (Featuring the Gourmet BBQ System) in Black with Griddle Inserts is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 289.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this BBQ! Fairly easy to assemble. It took me about 3 hrs to put it together. I''m a pretty handy woman! BBQ works great! Lights so easily! First thing I cooked was a pizza & the crust came out great! I wish the pizza stone fit inside the grates but it doesn't. Picture displayed on website is not correct & misleading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad grill, somewhat pricey for outdoor cooking. Weber's THE GOURMET BBQ SYSTEM is at best pretty much a waste of additional investment and the grill doesn't have enough BTU's for the WOK option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grill, Terrible Front Panel I bought this for the modular plates and the reasonable price. In this sense, it's fantastic. However, I didn't pay attention to the front panel. I have no idea why it's not a hinged door! Instead, it's this flimsy panel that clings onto 4 posts. It's not easy to put on and off, for sure! I'm thinking about hacking it and putting in a door on my own. It shipped for free, but arrived disassembled as expected. It took about three hours from start to finish (and that's with one mistake). Considering that I've never done this before, I'd call the process easy! The only thing I recommend is to do the leak check prior to mounting the front panel for the first time. If you follow the directions sequentially, they have you mount it, complete the build fully, then take it off again for the leak check. I GOL'ed (grumbled out loud).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome As a previous Weber gas grill owner of 15 years prior to "burying" it, I was anxious to purchase another. This year for Christmas and our anniversary, this Weber arrives at my house and the 3 times Ihavevuses it. Steak and chicken and sausages turned out great. Even temp, even cooking, and moisture was the same quality as my other Weber. Happy with my gift

We use the charcoal more in the summer months. It came assembled from Home Depot and no charge, hooked up the gas tank and where ready to grill. Very good quality all around, easy to clean grates and the temperature can get very hot for some great seared steaks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grill! Love this grill and all the possibilities that the accessories offer. The only reason I'm not giving this grill 5 stars is that this is our second one in the last few years. The other one rusted pretty quickly. We liked the grill so much though that we decided to give it a second chance and buy another one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Very Good Grill My only small complaints about this grill are; (1) the front cover is a pain to keep removing and replacing and would really be better served by having an actual door on it, and (2) maybe I was just naive in expecting the grill to come with the propane tank (which it didn't) which then cost me another $50 (filled). Other than these two small issues, the grill is fine. P.S. For those that are not mechanically inclined and worrying about some other reviewers statements about how long it took to assemble (in once case 3 hours!), I did it in only an hour and a half and probably 20 minutes of that was simply unpacking all the pieces and making sure I had everything.
