Most reviews have to do with setup and initial use. This si more of an "after 2 year " review.
After having ours for two years now I will say this grill is well worth the money. The components of this grill are still in excellent condition. We like to grill thru the winter and keep our grill outdoors year round. There have been times where it hasn't been covered. We treat this grill no different then past grills and by now we would be replacing parts on those grills, not the Weber. We don't neglect the grill but we probably don't take care of it like we should either. This spring I thoroughly cleaned the grill and checked everything and it is amazing how well it is holding up.
The best part is the performance over time. This grill works just as great today as the first day we used it. The temp gauge, ignitor and burner control are as good as day one.
The speed of heating to get the grill piping hot for a great steak or burger is amazing. When cooking chicken or pork the temperature control is spot on. In time you learn how to manipulate the burners for a perfectly cooked meal everytime, no matter what it is. The heavy duty grates are perfect and the best surface I ever grilled on.
If you are reading this review like I was two years ago, deciding if this grill is worth the extra coin, then let me say it is worth every single penny. The day you take it home you immediately realize the quality of construction and performance. Two years from now you will probably be posting a review about how this is the best grill you ever owned and is money well spent...lol...hope this helps.

I took a lot of time to try and figure out which grill I wanted. I hemmed and hawed over cheaper models but ended up with this and have been absolutely thrilled with the decision I made.
The finish on the grill is nothing short of spectacular. This was not a cheap investment but you immediately can tell that you bought a quality product.
The grill heats up in no time and grills evenly for fish, meat, kabobs, and veggies.
***One note: Make sure to follow the instructions for lighting the grill. The other night I opened up all the knobs before lighting. The gas regulator went into safe mode as a result and only a small amount of gas went to the burners. As a result the grill only heated up to about 250. I was scratching my head for a while but in the end I had to turn the grill off completely and restart the grill correctly in order to get full flow to the burners.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Faisal Good but could've been great
Everything about the grill is great except one issue. I donât know if I should blame the burner or the high winds but when itâs really windy, burners shut off. I remember reading it in one of the reviews by another buyer. So, I believe itâs a persistent issue with this grill. On the other side, itâs very solidly built and will last many years. Grill size is neither huge nor small. Heats up fast (in about 3 minutes, you are ready to grill). Home Depot assembled it for free (*****). Burner knobs on the top-right in-fact is a plus for me. I have 2 years old boy. These knobs stay out of his sight else toddlers love to turn these knobs around.
Overall, itâs a good buy but couldâve been great if it wasnât windy.
Go buy it, you will like it.

I replaced my 19 year old Weber Spirit w/ this grill. It is a great grill with even temperatures across all the grate. I specifically purchased this from Home Depot because they have an exclusive agreement with Weber to provide cast iron grates which retain the heat and provide nice grill marks on fish, fowl, beef and pork. The grill is solidly built and was assembled in just over and hour, If you have it assembled at the store you need a van or pickup to haul it. You can use a station wagon if you take it home in the box. You will need to men to carry it since it's 143lbs in the box and very bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Houda Sometimes it's worth paying for the brand name, like with a grill
Having owned at least four grills since college I decided to get a brand name (THE brand name) this time. Turns out I do occasionally make good choices. This grill is solid, made from heavy gauge metal and quality parts. I've had it nine months, gone through 8 to 10 tanks of propane and it looks and works like the day I put it together. It still lights on the first click of the electronic ignition. The grill lives outside in the weather, though always under the cover once it cools.
I read a lot of reviews before buying the Weber and found a trend: the customers giving high ratings to the lesser expensive grills just bought them. The people with Webers talk about replacing the one they had for 12 years after they backed into it with their car or gave it to their son in college. I expect I'll have this grill longer than the car I'm driving (if I can keep from running over the former with the latter).
