Answer:
Fyi, one answer above or below says call your natural gas company. Well, plumber if u want a gas line installed if you don't have a gas line for a grill. The gas company in Louisiana does not install gas lines in house. If u call, you'll wait for them to come out and they going to tell you to call a licence plumber.

Answer:
Propane is 2.5X hotter than NG.
Also, the specific gravity of each gas is different.
So the gas orifice in the burner is smaller to accommodate this.
Consequently, you can't run one on the other.

Answer:
I have been using natural gas grills for years. The only difference is that you don't have to worry about the propane running out and you do not have to drag propane tanks to and from home, hook them up and then hope everything works fine. The natural gas is more efficient and makes grilling more fun.

Answer:
The propane gas grill includes a propane tank that has to be refilled or replaced when empty, and you have to find a place that can refill or replace propane tanks. The natural gas grill runs off the home's natural gas, using a line that is either built into the home or can be added (contact your natural gas company).

As far as cooking nothing, I just built a new home and had a gas line run to my Lani so I don't have to worry anymore how much gas is in my yank and then
Having to run out and get it filled!! The line
Is there, all I have to do is open the valve, heat, cook and turn the valve off.
The sufferance is, more futzing around with tanks!!! However if you don't have a gas line you may still need the tank!!

The casters are a good thing to have. You can move the grill easily if necessary and the casters lock in place so that the grill does not move.

I purchased the natural gas version online. I was advised the online purchase of this grill allowed shipment to my residence or the closest Home Depot store. It can be assembled at the store. I do not remember if there was an assembly charge. It would save you several hours of work to have it assembled there. If you are a military member you may also obtain the military discount online.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 168 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great grill! Yes, it's pricey. Worth it? Absolutely. The Spirit S-210 was easy to assemble, looks great, and the quality of build is outstanding- just what you'd expect from Weber. Heat control is excellent and distribution very good- no hot spots. Easier to clean than the older Spirit model that it replaces. I had reservations because it's made in China (what isn't nowadays) but I'm very happy with my new grill. Glad I got the NG version, which provides storage space (no tank) and no worries about running out of fuel. If you have limited space or aren't cooking for large parties the two burner S-210 should be a consideration. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes grilling fun again This grill was easier to assemble than I expected. Started grilling right away & every weekend since. It is my first Weber gas grill & has sure made grilling fun again. The grilling card instruction & adjustable side shelves, that come with it are a big plus. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a little pricy Once the grill was all together I went to hook up the gas line to the natural gas outlet and discovered the shut off valve was not included in the delivery. An additional purchase of approximately $63.00 including a nipple and a 90 degree ell was required. . July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly as expected Very easy to assemble, parts were well labeled. Assembly on a tabletop really helps. The only problem came at the end when you have to attach the door! The pin at the door bottom has to go into hole in base, but the hole was on the back side of the base! The diagram never showed the hole location so had to unscrew 10 bolts to turn base around, very annoying. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy natural gas grill Perfect size, gas coupling easy to hook up. Well built , no issues , July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great BBQ Very involved to put together but works great. Looks great and appears to be easy to maintain. June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Glad I bought a newer Grill The newer grills are all stainless so gone will be peeling paint, the new grates are ceramic coated so gone is rust on grates. Glad I replaced the old one, heats up quickly, you can control the temperature. I bought natural gas, I didn't want to deal with propane replacement. Instructions have improved too and gas line is improved so I don't have all that extra line to coil. Wished the side burner was offered with the 2 burner. One thing I did notice when the heat comes on in the house the grill temperature goes down, no problem, I've learned to turn the temperature down on the furnace when grilling in the winter. Glad I made this purchase its worth the extra money over the cheaper grills. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy-to-assemble, compact, and powerful grill The assembly instructions were straightforward, and the grill works like a champ once assembled. It gets very hot very quickly, and cooks food well because the heat is evenly distributed. Cleaning is easy, and it doesn't occupy too much space even though our deck is fairly small, especially if you fold down the wings. Despite the small footprint, it still cooks a lot of food in one turn. June 29, 2016
