Best way to find any part number for your Weber grill is go to Weber.com and look it up. First get the serial number of your grill from your owners manual, or from a sticker on your grill.
See the answer I previously posted that described how to find a part number for your grill, with serial number in hand, using the Schematic>Other Parts.

No too small. You need part #7528, stainless steel grate.
I'm looking around for an after-market grate. They seem more heavy duty at a lower cost.

Answer:
I just bought new replacement ones for my original that were nearly ten years old and I grill 3/4 nights per week 12 months a year. My grill is on the front porch (which is covered) and obviously the grill top is kept closed year round. So while these are expensive, they do last and I never experienced any rust because they never were wet/damp.

Best route to go: Look up the serial number on your Weber grill. Typically 2 alpha + several numbers. If you can't find the serial number, or it's not in your Weber manual (that you diligently saved), go to the Weber home site ( http://www.weber.com/ ), and follow the instructions. If you can't find the serial number, or it's not in your Weber manual (that you diligently saved), go to the Weber home site ( http://www.weber.com/ ), and follow the instructions. I found that the best place to find the correct part numbers or your grill, with the serial number in hand: Select tab Parts and Support>Schematics>Enter your Serial Number (notice that there is a selection in fine print to help you locate your serial number)r>The result will tell you exactly what your model is and offer the schematic, select the schematic>Select in fine red print "Additional Parts">Click Button Cooking Grates (or whatever parts you are looking for)>The results presented will be all the different grates that fit your Weber grill, note the part number. You can then go to Home depot site and see if they have that exact part number in store stock, or if not, you can order it from Home Depot (typically free shipping to your home or free in store pickup). You can also order from Weber, but I find the prices and shipping costs to be slightly higher from Weber. Don't over look the "replacement kits, for things like burners and ignitor kits)
If you don't have or can't find the serial number of your Weber Grill, or the site is too difficult to find what you want...You can always call Weber Customer support, of contact Weber via their support e-mail, which is offered on most of their web pages. I used e-mail several times and got a reply within a few hours, sometimes the next business day. Read Less

There are numerous part numbers, and grill models, and slight variations in measurements, and several different types of replacement parts. On some older models there are even letter Models, like A, B and C, and in a few cases the date of manufacture will make a difference also. I found this out on my Genesis Silver (Model #: 6711411 Description: Genesis Silver A LP w/C.I. , black (2005).

The best way to find exact part numbers that will fit your grill, is by going to Weber.com. It is best if you use the serial number of your grill to look up part numbers that will fit your grill. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Quality and Perfect Fit as expected from an OEM product Excellent Quality and Perfect Fit as expected from an OEM product August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by STAINLESS STEEL COOKING GRATES (2-PACK) Appears to be a very high-quality product, much better than the originals. Although I must say the original cooking grates lasted 8 years. So I assume these will last even longer. Easier to cook on these as it seems the heat is better and more evenly distributed. Highly recommended. July 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weber Stainless Steel grate I replaced the porcelain enameled cast iron grates, which had a couple of chips in the porcelain with the Weber stainless steel grates. They function very well, and the lower thermal retention does not adversely affect the grilling. I did have to modify very slightly my grilling temperatures and techniques, but the SS grills actually produce a better result, because they effectively distribute the heat on the grill and seems to be a slightly cooler grill, at the same temperature settings, leading to less scorching of the meat. I won't know for awhile if they will last longer than the cast iron grates, which lasted 10 years. August 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EXCELLENT GRATES!!!!!! Ordered and delivered in TWO days, cooked ribs and chicken so far- the best, super sear marks, easy to clean- preheated to 400 degrees or so, waited about 10 minutes and brushed with a new weber grill brush. Can't wait for the next time. Also purchased the stainless steel flavorizer bars, igniter and a cover. Our Weber Silver A grill is nine years old BUT now it is like brand new! April 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Once you go Stainless Steel, you'll never go back! So much better than the grates that come with the grill.. they get nice and hot and they are solid. July 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Feels light weight I ordered the wrong item. Taking it back was easy. Just returned it to the local Home Depot. The local Home Depot does not stock the size I need so I will be back on-line looking again. I might look around for an after-market grate. From what I have read they seem to be more heavy duty at a lower cost. October 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by They're better than the iron grates Although the stainless steel grates are lighter, they're not much different from the iron grates. Both are difficult to clean. However, the secret is to use a piece of aluminum foil after you turn off the grill and before it gets cool. Place the aluminum foil sheet on top of the grill shiny side down. Close the lid and leave for awhile. The grates get very clean. July 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my new grates I prefer the stainless grates to the standard ones as they make nicer looking sear marks. More importantly, though, they are easier to clean and far more durable. In my experience the porcelain enamel grates exhibited rust within a year, necessitating their replacement. These grates fit my Spirit 210 perfectly. i am very happy with them. October 9, 2012
