Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm a newbie. From home depot website, it seems there're two versions for this grill. This one uses natural gas, there's another one which uses propane. Here is my question: Can this natural gas model also use liquid propane? Thanks in advance.

Answer:
I'm more or less guessing here, but I don't believe the same model can use both types of gas. That's why they have the option for both models. If it's anything like a lot of house ovens/ranges, natural gas uses a different connector than propane. Also, there's no gas gauge with a natural gas model.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE our new grill - so easy to use!! This is our 2nd Weber grill and our last one was 15 years old, the upgrades are amazing! It is so easy to use and is a nice addition to our backyard!! May 24, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Summit Weber Grill Generally speaking it is a nice product. But the doors under the grill are out of square. It is too much of a hassle to return the grill and does not impact product performance - but I expected much much better considering the cost. Fit and finish is only ok. I would not buy a Weber product again if this is typical. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by S- 420 summit Works great . Very high quality. Even heat cooking surface. Would buy the again. Very pricey though . May 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weber isn't what it used to be! We purchased this grill 2 years ago and have it on our covered patio. It gets no sun and is not exposed to rain. The chrome on the handles and Weber logo are badly pitted and the paint on the side of the grill cover is bubbled and peeling off. We contacted Weber's customer service and they said the items are not covered by our warranty so we could pay for new replacements but they won't cover it. This is not a cheap grill as you can see from the price $1,400. We specifically choose a Weber because we thought it was a quality grill. Maybe they were at one time but they apparently aren't any more. Sure didn't expect the poor customer service. We will not be buying another Weber grill. April 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Summit S-420 Grill was quite easy to assemble...toughest step, IMHO, was connecting the gas hose to the burner...hard to get the right leverage. Otherwise heats up well, grill seems to be easy to clean. My only minor gripe is, after 4 weeks of ownership, using it twice a week (and unually only using two burners) I have gone through an entire tank of propane. Not sure if this is normal or not, as I have been cooking on a Weber Kettle for 10 years...a natural gas grill prior to that. It cost a bit more than I was planning on spending; but other reviews have said it's a good grill for the money. Highly recommended if it's in your price range. September 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Liked mine so much, I bought one for my son! I bought a Summit 6-burner last summer. Loved it so much, I bought one for my son, who loves to grill. The tank level indicator is a great feature! He and his family absolutely love their new Weber. December 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OUCH!!! I'm sorry to report that I've been really disappointed in this whole transaction. First of all, I ordered this product on line for pickup at the Delta Park PDX store. My previous expensive Vermont Casting BBQ was purchased at HD and it lasted 10 years. It cost $1000. I figured that if I purchased the "ultimate" Weber, it would be just the ticket for my daughters wedding reception at my place. I went to pick up the Weber and found out that they gave me the floor model which has a bunch of miles on it. The knobs fell off as the manager wheeled it out to my truck, He remarked that all I had to do was "Bend the tabs" to hold the knobs on. When I arrived home I discovered that the side burner doesn't operate. This thing cost $1500.....probably not the most expensive ever....but pretty high. I figured that I would just suffer in silence, but you've given me the opportunity to whine. I have a new (almost) bbq that is scratched up, the knobs fall off and the side burner doesn't operate....Now what....does HD care? JON COUTURE December 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Did not live up to expectations The grill cooks fine however the appearance is no longer very nice. Many areas have rusted/corroded after a few short years. I would have expected better quality materials. A disappointment. Please see the photos. I would not recommend a Weber grill. May 20, 2014
