Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Cook book for everyone! Beginners will be pros and pros will learn new things! I recently found an exceptional cookbook at Home Depot of all places. It's called Weber's Way to Grill: The Step by Step Guide to Expert Grilling by Jamie Purviance. The book includes all of the usual chapters like seafood pork, poultry, beef plus a lot more: sauces, vegetables, fruit, pizza, bread and lots of things that aren't typically included in a grilling cookbook. For example, lemon broccoli made on the grill and crème fraîche. The cookbook has easy to follow instructions with lots of pictures and has the potential to make anyone a great cook. You are probably hoping I'll tell you how to make crème fraîche. It costs a small fortune at the grocery store but couldn't be easier to make it home. Who knew? Crème fraîche Makes: 1 1/8 cups Prep time: two minutes Standing time: 8 to 24 hours In a small bowl combine the cream and buttermilk. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 8 to 24 hours. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 10 days. Note: After eight hours at room temperature, a bit of buttermilk turns heavy cream into thick crème fraîche. After 24 hours, the same crème fraîche is even bigger and more delicious. I tried it and it works! I can't recommend this cookbook enough!
