Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Leftfoot Great buy. So much better than my old wooden 10' ladder
This 10-foot ladder was a perfect Christmas gift for my son. He needed it to access his gutters and roof. This past weekend, I got to try it out, myself. It is so much handier and sturdier than my old 10-foot wooden ladder. It's lighter, too.

I am a new homeowner and decided I needed a tall ladder to help me with housework outside. I am sa small female and have enjoyed staying close to the ground- I am not good with heights. I have never enjoyed climbing up ladders. But this ladder was so sturdy that I had no problem using it on my own. I didn't feel like it would move, slip or sway. I used the painters tray to store any item I needer- hammers, nails, a drill. I am definitely pleased with my purchase and feel confident using it by myself.

I purchased this ladder for the purpose of trimming high branches in trees. The ladder is very sturdy on uneven ground and I feel very confident that the ladder will not tip over when I climb to the highest safety rung. I am happy with this purchase..

Electric overhead not a concern for me, I don't trust fiberglass anymore. Good quality light weight ladder.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bobinmass Replacement for ladder destroyed shoveling snow off the roof.
I had this model ladder for 15 to 20 years with good service. This past winter in Mass. The snow would not quit falling and I had to shovel (snow rake) the roof 3 times. The old ladder was not on a good footing without me knowing it until it melted out in the spring. When I finally got it out of the snow pile I found a leg badly bent. I felt that the original had earned its keep and replaced it with the same model. I expect to have the new one for as long as I take proper care of it.

It is an aluminum ladder.....that is, it is easy to carry and, when in use, a little uneasy when you get up high on it. That could just be me. Otherwise, workmanship is good, I just don't understand why something so simple costs so much. But all ladders are expensive........We are using it to paint our vaulted ceilings and to access the roof of our house from the deck. I would buy again.
