The D1320-2 Aluminum 20 ft. Extension Ladder has a duty rating of 250 lbs. and heavy duty modified I-beam side rails. The TRACTION-TRED D-rungs are slip resistant and the side rails are interlocking. Heavy duty spring-loaded locks operate smoothly. Durable shoes rest flat or are held in spur position with SHU-LOK feature. Mar-resistant end caps help protect the surface ladder is leaning against. Answer: 
The 2 sections of the ladder are 10ft long each. When fully extended and ready for use, the ladder sections will overlap 3ft. You would be looking at a height of 17ft.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy & well made I would definitely recommend this ladder. I was originally going to go with a cheaper ladder, but then decided to get the heavier made one, I'm glad I did. No ladder shaking/wobbling when I'm up at 18' with this ladder. And it will not erode like fiberglass. If I had to comment on any improvement suggestion, I would say the rope to pull it extended should be heavier and they should figure a way so it doesn't just dangle, but other then that, this is an excellent ladder!
