It came nicely packaged and absolutely scratches free. This ladder is truly professional grade. Werner did a great job when it comes to material, construction quality and safety features of this ladder. It’s sturdy and will last me many years with no issues. Talking about weight, it’s not too light to feel flimsy and not too heavy to move around. Size is perfect for me and I can easily hang it on my garage side wall.
As long as it’s not extended, it can easily be handled by a single person. You will certainly need additional hands when half to fully extended. I find non-conductive fiberglass rails, rubber at the show bottom and claws on the shoes tips a great deal since they certainly add peace of mind for me when it comes to safety while climbing.
I used to borrow the ladder from my neighbor and now I am the proud owner myself. Tasks like gutter cleaning, second floor windows caulking and once a year roof inspection are now easy to perform at my own schedule.
I am very happy to own it and highly recommend it.

This is pretty sturdy, I weigh quite a bit and it it did not flex on me, when I had it extended. It does shake a bit when you're near the top because there is some flex. The rungs are nice and big, good for big feet and nice and comfortable when compared to other ladders. It does advertise itself as being about 10% lighter but I could not notice, meaning it is still a little heavy and I prefer to have some one the other end helping me to carry it. All in all, it is very sturdy, I do like the fiberglass type of construction material.

We have used these ladders for years on the welding and work trucks, so we knew we could count on it to stand up for many years of use at home. Great quality, safe ladder. Easy to extend and retract, and this length will get us even to the peak of our 14' barn making trim work very easy. A little expensive but well worth the investment if you take care of it (ie don't run over it with your work truck).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MarilynB My first fiberglass ladder and I am impressed!!
I used to think that all ladders were alike, but this Werner Fiberglass ladder has shown me that there certainly is a difference between these and the aluminum ones. I was impressed with how sturdy and strong this ladder is and how I can climb it without having the wobble and bounce that my old one has. It is really great to have the sense of security that I feel using this ladder. I also like the safety of fiberglass when doing any electrical work on the house.
I had no problem stabilizing it, even on uneven surfaces. The safety shoes are well made and can be set on the rubbery pad or they can be inserted into the ground using the claw-type edge.
It has 24 slip resistant D-rungs that are comfortable and help me feel secure at each step.
I found this ladder easy to use, and love the pulley rope system. Although being lightweight, it does weigh about 45 lbs. but I had no problem hauling it around with my weight of 104 pounds.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lorena Excellent quality, 12% lighter than original model, very sturdy.
This ladder is made of fiberglass which is suitable for working around electricity (non-conductive side rails). It weighs 45.7 lbs and it has a maximum reach of 23 ft (assumes a 5’6” person with a vertical 12” reach). The ladder is well constructed, sturdy made of exclusive ALFLO rung joint, which means twist-proof performance. It also features heavy-duty dual action shoes with rail shield and slip-resistant Traction-Tred D-rungs for safety. One of the photos shows a man carrying the ladder with one arm and the other photo shows a man lifting the ladder on top of the van by himself. I’m a woman and couldn’t carry this by myself, not due to its weight but because it’s too long so I had to ask my daughter to help me carry it outside. I used it today as I had to glue a few roof shingles and I felt very comfortable going up on this ladder. The ladder is very firm/sturdy, didn’t wobble or move much at all and the shoe part stayed put on the grass while I was working on the side roof of my house. While using it to glue the shingles I noticed a bunch of leaves on the gutters so I will use again tomorrow to clean my gutters and all the windows since I now feel very comfortable using it. The ladder sits on the side of my garage and it doesn’t take much space. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tall ladder that is lightweight. Load capacity is 300 lbs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JamesC Solid and sturdy. Desn't flex or bounce as much as aluminum. Lighter, but not a light-weight.
This 24-ft, 2-section, ladder by Werner is bright orange for visibility, with non-conductive fiberglass rails making it a better choice than aluminum for working near electrical power lines. Although the ladder only extends to 21-feet (to provide a safe working height of 24-ft) with a 3-foot overlap, it’s sufficiently sized for a 2-story house to access the roof, upper-level windows, vents, and rain gutters. While I’m not able to safely reach all of my home’s peaks, I can reach most common areas so, while a longer ladder would occasionally come in handy, 24-feet is an ideal length for the majority of my chores, and is a size that will store nicely inside my garage or outside on brackets mounted to an exterior wall. The duty-rating of this ladder is 300lbs, which includes the user, equipment, and materials. I generally don’t carry anything heavier than a tool belt, a sandwich and a bucket of paint, or an electrical fixture up a ladder, which, due to the lack of weight, tends to cause aluminum ladders to bounce, which can be a bit unsettling if you’re uncomfortable with heights and, like me, don’t fancy the thought of falling into the driveway. This ladder feels very solid and sturdy underfoot and doesn’t flex or bounce as much as an aluminum ladder, even at full extension. The 19-inch width lends room to move around and use different foot positions to keep your legs from getting fatigued, however you need to pay attention so as not to trip or get tangled in the halyard (rope). I like that this ladder is capable of accepting the Werner Quick-Click aluminum stand-off stabilizer and Werner extension ladder covers that slip over the tips to protect my home’s siding from damage, both of which I already owned and are worthwhile accessories for any Werner ladder. The dual-action swivel shoes can be used on hard surfaces or penetrable surfaces, such as grass. The foot pads are rubber to prevent slipping. The gravity spring-loaded rung locks (also commonly referred to as dogs or pawls) operate smoothly, lock positively, and work in concert with external guides at the top of the base section to ensure the ladder stays interlocked at the desired extension and does not collapse under load. Although this ladder is described as “light-weight”, it's by no means a featherweight. Compared to other fiberglass ladders of the same height and duty class, it may weigh less, but it’s a few pounds heavier than a similarly sized aluminum ladder. At full extension, the weight is most notable as the ladder is difficult to adjust, maneuver and reposition, but not more so than aluminum. Also, while the slip-resistant aluminum D-rungs provide a solid footing, when wearing shorts rather than long pants, they tear up my knees and shins as I shift my weight forward and brace myself tightly against the rungs so I can let go and work with my hands. This is true of all ladders with slip-resistant aluminum rungs, not just this one. While not a huge fan of 20-foot heights, given that I don't spend a lot of time on a ladder, but occassionally will tackle a project that necessitates using one, I feel comfortable scaling this Werner ladder due to its safety features and solid construction.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by schlafe Super sturdy lightweight fiberglass extension ladder
The Werner 24', 2-section lightweight fiberglass ladder is shipped via freight services, protected by shrink wrap with additional cardboard inserts to protect the ends of the ladder. The ladder weighs in at about 45 pounds and is noticeably lighter than a standard weight Werner fiberglass ladder. The ladder extends a total of about 21’ giving the user a total of 24’ of working reach. The fiberglass rails are non-conductive providing a safer environment when working around electrical wires/sources. The ALFLO D rungs are designed to be twist proof as well as non-slip. I found my footing to be comfortable on the D rungs. The maximum gross weight rating of the ladder is 300lb and the ladder seems super rigid as it barely flexed when I climbed up and down. I would recommend this ladder.
