Hadn't had it long and it snapped when I was 20' in the air, not a pleasant fall.

I have the largest 26' version of this ladder, and it is a monster. Sixty two pounds is a lot of weight to carry for a small/quick job, so I don't think I'll use it a whole lot. But when I do need it, the unique flexibility and sturdiness it offers are excellent. It is also possible to transport within a mid-size car if the back seat is folded down since it is less than 7 feet long in it's smallest configuration.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stan This ladder is the great
I needed a multipurpose ladder that would reach 12 feet when used as a step. This one fit the bill perfect.
With the wider base it is very stable. It is a great value.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PeterH I'd be lost without this
Part of my job involves interior painting. If it is a raised ranch or 2 story condo, I can get away with the shorter version... if it is a 2 story colonial with 10' or more ceilings on the ground floor, only this will do. I had a commercial job where the lobby stairs reached about 24'. Some was done with this ladder in step ladder configuration and some in extension ladder configuration. There is no way these people would have let me bring in a 24-28' extension ladder. Even a 12' step ladder, which would have been of very limited usefulness, so the compact folded up size is a plus too.

I haven't used this a lot yet, but it seems solid, well-designed, and well-made. I used it at its maximum height for an "A frame" ladder while trimming a tree, and it felt quite steady and solid (given the height and that I weigh about 275 lbs). Home Depot's price was MUCH lower than Lowes or on-line sources I checked for this ladder (same brand & model) - I wondered if it was a mistake in the on-line system, but when I picked it up in the store the price was marked the same.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Johnny Excellent Ladder for the money
Ordered on-line and picked-up in store; fast & convenient. Once home, the ladder was easy to unpack from all the plastic wrapping. The instruction booklet was not too difficult to follow, but a quick guide would have been most helpful. This is a HUGE extendable ladder and a tad difficult for one-person maneuver. However, it is sturdy & strong; felt safe while climbing on it. Also, there is the ability to position the ladder at different heights / angles using the "pull-out locks". This is a very good, safe, strong and sturdy piece of equipment.

I have 3 of these types of ladders...a 13, 22 & just got this 26' ladder for my cleaning service.
I've been using this type for over 2 years and couldn't be happier.
Whether cleaning gutters, solar panels or windows, I really consider these "die hards" of ladders.
I can fit the 22 & 26 in the back of my SUV and the 13 in my back seat.
Unless you really need a big and bulky extension ladder, get these telescoping ones.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Paul Heavy, good value
MT-26. Very convenient for homeowners, one ladder for many purposes. Long enough to allow me onto the roof of a 2 story house. Surprisingly easy to adjust. Good load rating (300lbs).
Heavy, and hence very difficult to raise.
Be careful with the specification of length, about 22 feet is realistic. 26 foot length and 25 foot reach are both almost meaningless.
