This ladder requires no assembly. It is a terrific ladder. Only drawback is that it is a bit heavy. However, it is extremely sturdy and I feel very safe on it at its maximum height. This more than offsets the weight issue.

I believe it weighs about 65 pounds. Probably the only way to reduce the weight of this ladder would be to make it out of titanium, which would make it unbelievably expensive I'm sure.

The ladder weighs 63 pounds. In the "A" frame configuration, it is fairly easy for one person to adjust the height and move it around. In full extension, it is a little tough to handle alone. Very sturdy ladder.

When it's in the 'A' frame configuration and fully extended, I can go up to 9 feet which leaves 2 steps above where I'm standing (the last step is at the main joint and the one underneath that recommends that you don't stand on or above that step).

Good question Greg: In the A-frame configuration the height is about 11 feet. Figuring a reach of about 4 feet gives you a safe working height of about 15 feet. Be safe.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wish I'd bought this multi-purpose ladder sooner!! Well constructed. Very sturdy and stable. Easy to position to required purpose or height. Extremely happy with this purchase. Solved a couple of my more pressing height issues. A valuable addition to my tool inventory. September 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ladder This ladder is so heavy it takes two people to handle it. Not sure how you would extend it to 26 ft. due to the weight. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Great product for good price. Fast delivery. Thank you. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice update on multi-position ladders This is a replacement for a 20+ year old multi-position ladder and the improvements are fantastic, this ladder has, in only a week, become the most demanded ladder by every member of our staff-- our subs borrow it every chance they get as well July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by multi ladder removes the need of owning multiple ladders and will keep you from trying to reach something that is too high (by inches) for the standard 6 foot ladder and falling as a result July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great ladder but is heavy This ladder is just what you need to get the job done but beware it may be a two man job to set it up. Was able to reach the top of my fire place with ease. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PopPopC This ladder is excellent. Very stable and well built. Due to my work I also ordered the leveling leg set for uneven surfaces. My only complaint is the weight, it's heavy to get on and off my ladder rack and to haul around but it works great. June 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rock solid and very versatile Works well, and is very stable and solid feeling. My only negative is that it is heavy. Of course, if it were lightly made it wouldn't be solid etc, so I guess you really can't separate one from the other. Very well made product. May 17, 2016
