Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PeterH I'd be lost without this
Part of my job involves interior painting. If it is a raised ranch or 2 story condo, I can get away with the shorter version... if it is a 2 story colonial with 10' or more ceilings on the ground floor, only this will do. I had a commercial job where the lobby stairs reached about 24'. Some was done with this ladder in step ladder configuration and some in extension ladder configuration. There is no way these people would have let me bring in a 24-28' extension ladder. Even a 12' step ladder, which would have been of very limited usefulness, so the compact folded up size is a plus too.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stan This ladder is the great
I needed a multipurpose ladder that would reach 12 feet when used as a step. This one fit the bill perfect.
With the wider base it is very stable. It is a great value.

If you want one ladder for every job, this is the one to pick. A bit hefty and perhaps a little complex to morph from one application to another but very well made and very sturdy and safe once in the shape you want it to be in.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Paul Heavy, good value
MT-26. Very convenient for homeowners, one ladder for many purposes. Long enough to allow me onto the roof of a 2 story house. Surprisingly easy to adjust. Good load rating (300lbs).
Heavy, and hence very difficult to raise.
Be careful with the specification of length, about 22 feet is realistic. 26 foot length and 25 foot reach are both almost meaningless.

I had read the reviews and thought I might not like this ladder. I was very surprised, It is much better than I thought it would be. One of the biggest complaints I read was its weight, and yes it is heavy, but that is where its strength comes from.
I debated between the 22 ft and the 26 ft, and bought the 26 ft. It turns out that the 22 ft would have done the job just fine, but I am not sorry that I got the 26 ft.
As for the weight, I am 72 years old and not very physical and I can handle. I can carry it down the hill to my shop and up the hill to my house, and the hill is quit steep.
My first use was to change a light bulb on an eve 18 feet up. Like all ladders of any length, it was a little bouncy going up, but I have been on much worse than this one. When I got up to the top I felt very secure, ant that was what I was waiting for.
Another complaint that I read was that the manual was not very good. I don't see how anyone could say that. I can't see what more I would want to know that what is in the manual. The ladder is so easy to use and configure that I could have done everything except putting together the outer sections when using it as a scaffold. The book is clear on that, and just looking at the picture would have been good enough.
Because I bought the 26 ft ladder I know that I also want to buy the 13 ft for smaller jobs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dutchammer Great product
This extension type multi use ladder has already proven valuable in the house. Changing led bulbs in vaulted (12' plus) ceilings is tricky, but this product makes it a snap. It is not light but to get the kind of stability you want when over 15' off the ground...... I'll take a couple extra LBS. Delivered to my home at NO ExTRA CHARGE.......... Terrific !!

This thing is crazy heavy, very difficult, if not impossible, to put up fully extended from the ground by yourself. Two people could probably manage it fine. For a one-person job, you have to put just the lower part extended half-way, put it up against the garage, extend the lower part all the way, then go up the ladder and extend the upper part while on the lower part until it's up, and then walk it upright to the 2nd story roof. Not impossible, but it certainly could have been designed such that it would have been lighter, both at the top end, and overall. I'd guess that's how they avoid patent issues against the little giant brand of these types of ladders, which fetch double the price... Other than the weight, and how that affects it's use, it's great. One ladder to manage any job. I probably could have managed with the 22' model to maintain the gutters, which would have been lighter, but needed the 26' in case I ever need to actually get on the 2nd story roof...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bruce Sturdy ladder and many good features, but it is heavy, wheels would be great.
Great ladder, you feel safe on it, probably because it is so heavy. I also have the platform and tray attachments, I wish there where wheel attachments.
