The Werner response above is not accurate - this is not the MT-13; it is the MT-26. I don't know the answer however.

I bought this ladder 3 years ago and the other day when I coming down the ladder it failed. I am no where close to the weight limit. the sides gave out and it buckled. Called Werner and they could of cared less. Instead of replacing the ladder they basically said take a hike. below are images of the ladder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very happy with this ladder I have only had this ladder for a few weeks, so I can't give it a long term review. Initial impressions are very good. It's solidly constructed (even though it's not welded like more expensive ones from other manufacturers), is easy to use, and is very solid when I'm standing on it. === PROS: * well priced * very functional * strong * stores easily * does everything I need === CONS: * it's not a 22' ladder, it's 18' at max extension * the locking mechanism is a bit awkward to use (the competition seems like it is easier) * doesn't have wheels (a price point limitation) * doesn't have built-in feet levelers (another price point limitation)

I needed a multi-function ladder that provides stability, portability, durability, and increased height. I have owned a Little Giant multi-function ladder for many years, but it just doesn't have the reach I need in A-frame mode. I was concerned that any substitute would be lacking and leave me wanting more. This Werner ladder exceeds my expectations, providing everything I need with rock-solid stability. I have only had the ladder about a month, but I can tell it is now my go to ladder for hard to reach projects.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 13'? Not really I bought this ladder because I needed to get to the top of a 13' 6" semi trailer. After unpacking and setting it up, I leaned it against the trailer, only to realize it was about 3 feet too short. Pulled a tape measure out,and sure enough, 10' 8". I don't know where they get 13' from, but it's not in this ladder. I climbed on it anyway, to see how it felt, and to be honest,on the fourth rung, I was unsure about going any higher. I have an 8 foot fiberglass ladder that feels way more secure than this thing, and I get to the top of it regularly. I will be returning this ladder and finding a better alternative.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heavy! Hard to work with in most spaces Lock handles are hard to pull out and bend really easy. Once they bend the ladder is useless. Gorilla makes a 20ft version that is half the weight and has a 300lbs rating. Gorilla also has twist handles for rung locks that protect the locking pins.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great ladder, be careful tho As a nudist, i find you have be real careful when folding the ladder. Loose or dangling parts can totally get pinched, if you know what i mean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have owned this ladder for about a year. The pins that lock the sliding sections of the ladder ... I have owned this ladder for about a year. The pins that lock the sliding sections of the ladder in place are cheap, they are bending and I no longer fell comfortable extending the ladder. That is when I can, the pivot point on one side is so hard to move that to get it in and out of position I need a hammer. I have tried to lubricant it with no luck. If you need a multi position ladder I would recommend going with something different. I am looking at a little giant, they may be more money but a coworker of mine has one and had a issue with it after 4 years. They sent it to little giant and they repaired it at no charge. Werner doesn't even want to talk to you when you call them about the problems with these ladders. ( This is a common complaint noted in multiple reviews) Long story DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish...... understand, there is no warranty at all. I always wanted a multi-function ladder, they are incredibly useful and adaptable. But... after 4 months of owning this ladder and about 5 uses the retention spring on one hinge lock broke and the knob on the other hinge lock cracked and is ready to break into pieces. This ladder has had no rough handling or rough use. HD has told me "sorry it's over the 90 day return period so you can't exchange it" and Werner tells me I have to buy replacement parts. I now have a $150 ladder that's almost useless after 4 months and 5 uses. Next time I'll just buy a regular ladder.
