Mayber there is a formula for calculating the height needed to cover how far you should pull away from wall for a safe slant, etc. My guess is probably 24' ladder would let me slant it adequately plus extend a bit past the gutter.

TIA for any info.

Answer:
To reach a 19' gutter we would recommend either our D6224-2, maximum reach of this ladder is 23' with the height to gutter or top support being 13' - 17'. Or our 28' D6228-2, maximum reach 27', height to gutter or top support 17' - 21'.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by In time of need I had a 24" ladder but got on a job site and found out I need a taller ladder, I knew before hand that some day I was going to need it, so I didn't want to sacrifice my safety and purchased the 32" ladder, I am pleased with it, just wish the job cost would have paid for the ladder.
