This means easy do if yourself. If your painting, hanging pics this ladder is great for you. If your carrying roofing materials or heavy objects, you need a heavier, studier ladder.

Answer: 
Even though your ladder is a 6 ft., you should only climb your ladder up to where the top of your head reaches 10 ft. from the ground. Thus, "10 ft. maximum height". Its" a " Safety Precaution ".

This is a pretty close maximum because I am working in a 10 foot high room and I can easily work on the ceiling with this ladder, and I am 5'-10". I can probably even work at 12 feet high ceiling because I seem to be too close to the ceiling, so I had to step down on Read More

You should only use the first four steps on this style of ladder (6'). This would put you up to a height of 4'. If you are an average human being this would put your height and the four foot of useful steps on the ladder at a reach of 10' safely. 4' ladder + 5'8" body with arms to reach = 10' safe maximum height.

It looks like it is. However if you have a question, you can take a magnet with you to the store when you see it and check. In our RT Dept when we had to get O2 tanks and transport carts we checked with a magnet, anything we questioned about if it could go into the MRI. As a security, you could call the company. But looking at ours, there is a little plastic on the aluminum that shouldn't be a problem.

We took ours home in the back of a short bed pickup. It had to run through the back window to fit, so I don't think it would fit in the trunk. It is six feet and doesn't bend in the middle.

Probably not. There is minimal packaging. Ladder; folded; is 74" tall; base is 21" X 6 ". It does not fold any further to make a shorter ladder. BUT, it does fit easily in my sedan: a Subaru with a folding rear seat (and a turbo!).

It is a 6 foot ladder, so it probably depends on the size of your sedan. I was able to fit this into our Focus hatchback with the seats down, but the top of the ladder was up between the driver and passenger seats.

I believe it's 6 ft so you will need to tie it down and leave the trunk open. It fit perfectly in my Honda Pilot, just had to put the seats down.
