I had 2 sections joined and almost tipped it over (in a customer's house) when I tried to climb it from the outside. You must use the outriggers!

It is designed for 6'. It is also designed for a second one to be added to go to 12 feet. That requires also buying outriggers and guard rail. I have a fear of heights and would never do that. 50" is as high as I've gone, and that is scary enough for me -- but WAY better than a ladder.
Also, I've placed one end of it on a deck with no railing (hew construction) about 2 inches from a one story drop off. Read More

I am sorry, but I have not had any trouble with my unit and have actually used it on pretty rough ground when I was bricking a building. I do not recall how the wheels mount to the square tube insert, but if they do not screw in, I am sure a replacement could be welded on by any local welding shop, auto repair shop or muffler shop.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Product was everything that was said. Easy to put together and very handy. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Investment- Wish I'd bought this years ago. I tend to research the heck out of a product before I buy, and after looking through the options/stores/prices decided to go with the basic, more popular size/load capacity out there for home projects. This scaffolding is perfect for inside and outside projects requiring more stability than a ladder- at height up to about 11 feet. A bonus was that Home Depot offered this product at an incredibly low price- much lower than other big stores and Amazon. Pros: Very easy to assemble and disassemble (with 2 people) Large reinforced platform allows you to bring up your tools and work - no up and down climbing . Sturdy enough to fit 2 people well- not wobbly. I didn't feel crowed or shakey- even when the platform was raised to 6' limit (and I did fully expect to feel shakey**). **I was convinced we'd need to buy the quite expensive security gate extension (costs more than the scaffolding), but after using the scaffolding daily for a week outside for a trellis project, decided that we didn't need it- so my advice would be to try it alone before investing in the security gate. Cons: The casters worked well- snapped into place securely using your foot. However- releasing them was difficult- tried a little WD40 but still , the tight spring action took more time and energy than it should. After completing our project, my husband commented that he wished we'd gotten this years ago. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scaffolding This was perfect for decorating my taller Christmas trees! All my trees rotate, so I would gather a number of ornaments, sit on the scaffolding, and decorating while the tree turned. Had the tree done in record time. Oh, we'll use it for painting, power washing, etc... but mainly bought it for tree decoration. December 8, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great scaffold Good size to work on, easy enough for 1 person to assemble on site. Great tool for a great price.( bought it on sale) May 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap castors The lock lock on one of the castors broke the first first day on the job and we couldn't unlock the wheel. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by really comes in handy Having this sure beats climbing up and down ladders to do a job and cover more area. April 12, 2016
