Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great, feel safe Adjusts for various widths and depths. Wide windows or patio doors from small to medium windows. Working close to wall and also adjusts for working on gutters keeping ladder off of gutters and far enough off wall to easily work on gutters or ledge of roof. Works great for safely climbing onto roof. Rest stabilizer onto roof to prevent ladder from tipping and feet from kicking out. See my pics for different uses. June 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Adjust great from working on side of the house to working on the roof. This product works great to stabilize an adjustable ladder. April 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job, but check the attachment points occasionally. This product does exactly what I wanted it to do and I'm happy with the purchase. Having said that, the one feature that I feel is lacking the same quality and integrity the rest of the product has is where is attaches to the ladder. The angle pieces, though notched for some stability, will drfit when you start tightening the wing nuts. I don't feel it's unsafe, but in my opinion it's not a good, secure, "locked" attaching system. June 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by stable Without this I wouldn't dare to climb up to the second story high exterior wall. Very good pads to protect the siding. I am 230 lbs. No dent nor any scratch made to our aluminum siding. However, after all said and done, your common sense of safety is important. The stabilizer just add stability to the ladder. The quality of your ladder, the setting angle and all sort of things are important as well. WORK SAFE!! By the way, I ordered this from Home Depot. It took a long time (almost a month) before they shipped it out. July 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed. The stabilizer attached easily to my 40 year old extension ladder. I used it to stand off under a 24 inch overhang so that I could paint some wood trim, and then later to put up holiday lights. Simple to take apart for storage. It saved me from spending hundreds of dollars to get a painter to do the job for me, or buy a taller ladder. December 10, 2014
