Answer:
Both the R422 and R522 are the folding arched ramp design rated for 1500 pound load capacity per pair evenly distributed. The R522 has wider treads, thus having fewer treads along the length of the ramp.

Nice option to have the tie down to secure the ramps, but where do you adhere them on the truck? Also, are these good to use for an upcoming move to load and unload furniture as far as walking up & down them?

Thanks.

They have a small hook that you try to attach to the bottom of the bumper. This will keep the ramp from moving.

Answer:
The R422 ramps are secured to the bed of the truck by using the tie down straps to attach to the bumper of the truck. Straps should secured and tied down to the bumper to hold the ramps in place.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ARCHED RAMPS WORK WELL. USE THE ARCHED RAMPS TO LOAD A 425 POUND QUAD (RAPTOR 700) AND 2OO+ POUND RIDER ON A FORD RANGER. TAILGATE (DOWN) SUPPORTS ALL THE WEIGHT....SO FAR. June 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by nice product! I did quite a lot of research about ramps before purchasing these. I like them, but they arrived dented scratched and twisted. just cardboard on the end caps. So be aware. January 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely happy with purchase! These ramps were delivered to our house earlier than expected and we could not be happier. There were so many ramps to choose from and we are glad we went with these. They are easy to use, light weight and tough. These are so light weight, I'm pretty sure a small child can handle carrying them. Loaded six 4-wheelers and a Ranger on a trailer with ease. We were impressed! The price through Home Depot was $40 cheaper than the competitors and they offered free shipping to our house! One of the best online purchases we have made yet! Thank you! August 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product. strong, quality built. ramps are well built. quality welds. strong safety ties. light weight. October 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AWESOME RAMPS I did a lot of research on different style ramps. Bought these for my father for his snow blower and mower. Very happy with my choice of these The arch in them makes them less steep and great for clearance from the mower deck. Great quality and stability as its all welded joints instead of rivots. Very light weight and I like that they fold for easy storage in the garage or the bed of his mid-size truck with the tailgate up. March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great ramps The ramps came easily out of the box. They worked extremely well loading a zero turn lawn mower into the back of the truck. February 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Lightweight, folded, fits in backseat area of extended cab, easiest to use. Worth the price if you are getting tired of heavy lifting. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent. Exactly as advertised. Great value for the price. I purchased these to load/unload a small tractor and various pieces of equipment. They are strong, simple to use, lightweight and, when you use the straps, solid as a rock. If you are considering the less expensive ones that are not arched, I assure you the arch makes a huge difference. May 27, 2014
