Answer:
It should as it attaches to the rungs. I put it on a 25 year old extension ladder and it's great. So much safer and more steady than just the ladder itself.

It comes with cushions to cover the ends that touch the wall. It did not mar our walls, but you can try it, and then cover the ends with more padding/cloth if needed.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Addition to Any Ladder Only complaint is that the ends and the rubber cups kept coming off. I fixed that problem with a little contact cement. So far, they haven't come back off. Great stabilizer. I like that it comes off easily without any tools. I store my ladder in my garage, and being able to take the stabilizer off prevents me from bumping my head on it or having to duck around it when I'm moving around our vehicles. Just being able to remove it if I need to without having to drag out tools was a big plus to me. It was work the extra money in my opinion. September 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Besat Purchase Was really eassy to assemble, very eassy to rear the manual, good material. October 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ladder Stabilizer Works as advertised at a reasonable price. Once in a while it gets stuck on rungs and I tap it off with a rubber mallet. Adds weight high up on the ladder and you have to be a little more careful setting the ladder into position, but it`s probably as light as it can be for providing stability. Good stand-off distance for painting tasks and the hook is definitely useful. If Werner provided a second hook (one for each side) that would be even better. September 14, 2016
