Answer:
The product is 1/2 FIP to 1/2 male NPT. Also, please note, product does NOT fully shut off water. There will be a small trickle of water in the off position which helps prevent a backflow

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality and it works! This turned out to be exactly what I was hoping it would be on all fronts: quality, looks, and function. It's more money than I wanted to spend but I feel it was well worth it in the end. March 3, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Problems Had to buy online because not available in stores. Arrived somewhat damaged - 2 opposing ridges were chewed up with lots of brass showing, looked like it had been installed then uninstalled and returned. Also the "handle" was super loose (I could flick it with my finger and it would spin freely) but the screw holding it in place was at maximum tightness. Should have sent it back right there, but we really wanted to lessen our showerhead water pressure. It installed fairly easily and I used teflon tape. But a large stream of water trickled out. When I turned it off, it still trickled. When I pushed down on the handle with my finger, the trickle became a stream shooting out sideways. Fortunately, was able to return it for a full refund at the local store. June 24, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It doesn't work well with tank less water heater. It doesn't work well with tank less water heater. Somehow, when I turn the water low to preserve water flow, tank less water heater thinks that shower is turned off, so water gets really cold, really fast. Does allow me to reduce water a bit, but not as much as I had hoped due to the hot water heater turning itself off. If you have a regular water heater, this should work just fine. Also, this was VERY expensive to buy. December 4, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Restricts flow Easy to install. Only a slow drip when in off position. March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works as it should. Works as advertised, saves water by controlling flow when the mixer valve I'd of the type that doesn't. May 7, 2013
