Customer Questions & Answers

So can u set it for to come on every 4 hours for 5 minutes

Asked by: Josh
Yes, this digital timer has up to 20 programs available. The smallest “ON” increment is 1 minute. You can program the device to turn on every four hours (12pm, 4am, 8am, 12am, etc.) to be turned off after 4 minutes each time.

15 Amp 2-Outlet Digital Timer is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great works great if you can figure out how to operate the freaking thing. It's as if they purposely designed it to be way more complex than it had to be. Save the directions if you ever need to reset it, cause your not going to remember how

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dule outfit digital timer A quality product for me thus far. Luv the fact that you can operate two small devices from it. I do wish though that setting up the unit was a bit more user friendly. Instructions that are included could be improved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Timer works well and is easy to set. Very veristile. This timer gives more flexibility than the old click timers and for that I think it is well worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK. Do NOT purchase. I have two low voltage controllers one in the front and one in the rear of the house for lighting circuits. After my 10+ year old mechanical timer went kaput I bought this as a replacement. It is an absolutely frustrating device to program and the instructions were written by someone who speaks English as a third or fourth language. So I finally figured out how to program it and installed it inside the transformer. Fit and worked great the first week. I was so enamored with it after a Week I rushed out and bought a second one. Back thru the frustrating programming routine and installed this one in the other transformer. Over the next five days things began to go haywire. The first unit was reprogrammed daily for the next 5 days and the second one exhibited similar issues from the get-go. Lights would not come on. Lights would come on at crazy times throughout the day. Sometimes lights would only stay on for a few seconds. It was really frustrating to wake up and find all the lights on in the morning. I've tried everything. Both units, even though they were bought in different stores behave in similar erratic manners. I've easily reprogrammed each one of them ten times. I'm not stupid, I'm an Electrical Engineer. One of them sometimes works for a day or two then begin the erratic cycling. This weekend I plan on replacing both of them with old style units

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Support for this Product The instructions on back were too cryptic so I went online for better programming instructions. The product shown for this model # was a different product - it had different buttons and I couldn't figure out which button was which. Extremely frustrating...this is a simple device and instructions should be simple. Who changes the design of a product and doesn't change the instructions to match the keys as they're labelled???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but I am rating it good for this special purpose: It has a long term battery, which means if it is plugged into a wall socket that gets power now and then it will act as a timer when desired. No other seems to have this capacity. Programming it is complex and tedious. Best if two people work at it, one reading the directions, the other pushing the buttons.
