It will probably work for old style incandescent or dimmable fluorescent bulbs but does not allow enough amperage (voltage?) to pass through to properly operate standard led or fluorescent. Neither packaging nor online description mentions this. When installed the fluorescent bulb was about half as bright as it was without the control and the led would cycle on and off if it lit at all. Covering the sensor did not change this behavior. Bought the Phillips Dusk to Dawn Fluorescent instead and they work perfectly.

Inexpensive, easy to install, and works as advertised. You have to special order, but Home Depot makes that easy. We ordered a spare so we have one on hand if one goes out.

the eye is too sensitive. The bulb cannot be covered without causing the eye to activate even with a clear glass. I would recommend an electric eye that is installed in the base of the fixture rather than screwed into the socket.

The 150 watt indoor outdoor dusk to dawn screw in light control is working fine so far. One comes on
before the other one.

It didn't work on the outside garage light with the corkscrew bulbs so then switched to standard bulbs and it totally blew the bulbs as well as the light control itself. Had to throw it in the trash and just glad it didn't ruin the light fixture.

I had the same issue as the previous review of the light bulbs flickering and then burning out, however, I did use the incandescent bulbs. Also, when I had this product screwed in, the 100 watt bulb looked more like a 60 watt bulb, in terms of brightness. When I took out the sensor, the light bulb was bright like it was supposed to be. I will be returning mine as well. Big disappointment since I am in the process of renovating my house and it is vacant at night, which is why I wanted it to be lit up at night. So, right now I just drive over twice a day to turn the lights on and off.
