Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The concept is good, the product build is faulty. One out of 4 units purchased works and even at that it must be placed relatively close to lamp source to work as expected. The one operational unit salvaged from purchases emits a low audible buzz. The concept is good, the product build is faulty. April 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very convenient! I have the touch dimmer on the lamp next to my bed. It's very convenient to be able to reach over and tap the base of the lamp to shut off the light. There is no buzz at all on any of the settings. I tried adding one to the lamp on the other side of the bed and they somehow interfered with each other, turning each other on/off. I took one of them and installed it in my son's room. In his room, it is sensitive enough to turn the light on when you walk past it into the room (must be static?). We just pass it off to our resident 'ghost' acting up. May 6, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by don't waste your money on this defective product Frequently turned on by itself (usually when I wasn't even at home). And after about 6 months, when I last tried to turn it on, the light bulb burned out, and something in the dimmer most have also fried. Now (with a new bulb) it's stuck in the "full bright" state. It won't dim and won't shutoff. In other words, it's useless. Apparently it can't handle the surge that occurs when a bulb burns out. March 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great Idea, Bad Product Found this on sale and thought I had the answer to my SO leaving the light on at night. A lot easier to touch the lamp than to get ahold of the switch. Unfortunately it died within about 10 days. Took it back for a replacement and that one died too after only a week. It seems that the automatic sensitivity goes out of wack as it starts off working with only a light finger touch then progressively requires the whole hand. The package says that a long hold will reset it, but that does not work either, too bad. January 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money Have purchased 2 of these. First one died after 18 days. The second one never worked. February 19, 2014
