Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AgeingSteveAustin worked well but one with a seperate wired sensor would be nicer.
worked great when connected to a string of white led Christmas lights. It is perfect for a hallway or stair instillation. You can even use an extension cord to place the unit where it sees the motion better Than another extension from the unit to position the lights just where needed, whether you want them high or low on the wall, or even behind a hand rail.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Swanny It works
Ordered from Home Depot by clerk since it wasn't available at the store. Waited nearly two weeks for the call to come to HD to pick it up. Other than the ridiculous wait time, the thing works as advertised.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GMan99999 Westek motion activated plug in socket
This Westek plug in motion activated wall plug was used to activate a small electric heater in a room to take the chill off early in the morning. Have used daily for over a month and has done just what we needed it to do without installing a permanent heat source.

I was looking for a motion detector night light, but this one you have to plug a light source into the unit. It detects motion very well but it doesn't emit it's own light. I will be returning them.

This product worked perfectly for 4 days. Then suddenly it started coming on by itself all day and night when I was not even in the room and my cat is too small to set it off. I unplugged it, worried it might start a fire. Wish I still had my receipt so I could return it. Bad product--don't buy!

Works as expected. Motion sensor is not very sensitive. Using mine in garage to light up rope lights mounted behind handrail in dark staircase.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ValK so-so
This device works. How it works - depends on the application. I used to as a motion detection switch for my coat closet and it didn't work out for me. Slow response and, since body heat involved, it did not always detected motion (it didn't detect door opening, since no body heat involved).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 0xFADE Range is pretty low but everything else works
The range seems to be far less than advertised. It appears to operate in the range of around 10 feet. But otherwise it is great. I am in a poorly wired apartment where a few of the light switches don't do anything so having a light turn on when I enter the room(halfway through the room because of the range) is a good alternative.
