Customer Reviews

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst excuse for shingles ever, do not buy Most of the shingles in a bundle are not 16 inches, and most are not cut parallel, so you have to waste your installation time cutting at least one side of each shingle. Further, these are not split from vertical gain cedar, they are cut, on both sides, from sap wood, the grain as much as 1/2 inch wide or more. This makes them extremely weak, and probably won't last very long either. I installed half of one bundle, then took the rest back and went to a real lumberyard, where for $10 more per bundle, got perfect 18" shingles, good for 25 - 30 years. Like most of Home Depots plywood, these shingle are junk. August 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works for me High quality and tight grained, they are 16" for 5" to the weather...I don't know what that other "GUY" is talking about. If you are doing a small area I would seal both sides of shingles with deck and fence sealer to make them last even longer.. June 27, 2015
